zaa DrainHairCatchers Shower Drain Hair Catcher, 2-Pack Gray Silicone

The 4.5-inch gray drain catcher combines silicone with a weighted stainless-steel component to collect hair and pet fur at the tub or shower drain. Its collapsible, dome-shaped design sits over flat and pop-up drains, helping keep loose debris out of the plumbing while water passes through its openings.

With two catchers in the pack, you can place one in each of two bathrooms or keep a spare on hand. It’s a removable, surface-level option for households that want to catch hair before it enters the drain, rather than relying on a strainer fitted inside the drain opening.

Where it shines

Use the catcher over a bathtub or shower drain during everyday bathing, especially where loose hair or pet fur tends to collect. The dome shape positions the strainer above the opening, and the engineered holes let water flow through while catching debris. That makes it useful for routine showers as well as cleanup after washing a pet.

The 4.5-inch outer diameter is intended for compatible standard-sized drains, including flat and pop-up styles. Set it on a level surface so the silicone edge can rest against the tub or shower floor. The weighted design helps it stay in place through contact with the surface, rather than suction. Buyers often highlight its hair-catching function and convenient cleanup, experiences with stability and water flow vary, so clearing accumulated hair regularly helps keep water moving through the openings.

Key features

The flexible, collapsible dome can be restored to shape before use and lifted away when it’s time to clean the drain area. Silicone edges meet the tub surface, while the stainless-steel weight helps hold the cover down. Together, these features make it a practical alternative to a permanent drain fitting when you want a removable catcher that can be cleaned between uses.

This two-pack is suited to homes with more than one bathroom or to placing a catcher in both a bathtub and a shower. Buyers also describe it as useful for collecting pet fur. If your priority is catching loose hair at the surface, its raised, perforated cover addresses that task, if you need the drain opening left completely uncovered, a surface catcher serves a different purpose.

Care tips

Hair and debris are easiest to remove while dry. Lift the catcher, wipe away the collected material with a paper towel, then rinse it with water. Regular cleaning—daily or a few times a week, depending on use—helps prevent buildup from restricting water flow. Restore the dome shape before placing it over the drain, and position it on a level tub or shower surface.

Buying verdict

The zaa DrainHairCatchers set brings a straightforward hair-catching setup to two drain locations, with a removable dome, silicone contact edge, and weighted stainless-steel component. It’s a practical choice for people who want to collect hair or fur before it reaches a compatible bathtub or shower drain and prefer a catcher they can lift off and clean as part of their regular bathroom routine.
