Valuetoner 62XL Black Ink Cartridges, Remanufactured 2-Pack for HP

A two-cartridge black ink supply can be useful when an HP inkjet printer handles recurring home or office documents and you want a spare ready for the next replacement. This Valuetoner set is a remanufactured alternative for printers that use HP 62 ink.

The pack contains two 62XL black cartridges. The listed yield is up to 715 pages per cartridge at 5% coverage on A4 paper, so that figure is best read in the context of the stated coverage rather than as a promise for every print job.

Compatibility spans selected HP ENVY and OfficeJet models. Because the list is model-specific, match your printer’s exact number before choosing a replacement.

Best use cases

These cartridges are intended for black printing on compatible HP inkjet printers, including models in the ENVY 5540, 5640, 7640, and 8000 families and OfficeJet 200, 250, 5740, and 8040 families. The full compatibility information also names individual variants such as ENVY 5544 and OfficeJet 5745. This makes the pack relevant for routine documents where black ink is the main need, it is not a color cartridge set.

The two-pack format gives you a second cartridge for a later change, while the high-yield designation and stated 715-page figure may help when comparing cartridge formats. It’s a great fit if your printer model appears in the compatibility list and you want a remanufactured black replacement rather than an original cartridge. Check the printer’s exact model number, since similar-looking series names do not establish compatibility on their own.

Where it shines

The main practical distinction is the combination of a two-pack and a stated high-yield format. That can suit a household or small workspace that prints black documents regularly and prefers to keep a replacement on hand. The listed chip function is intended to help track ink level, though the product details do not describe how that display behaves across every compatible printer.

This is a remanufactured option, not an original cartridge. Buyer feedback is mixed on print quality and ink duration: some customers describe good results, while others say the output is less clear than original ink or that the cartridge runs out sooner than expected. Those reports are perceptions, not a guaranteed outcome for a particular printer. If matching the original cartridge is your priority, an original replacement is the alternative to consider, if you are comparing remanufactured supplies, weigh the stated yield against the mixed feedback.

Is it worth it?

The decision comes down to compatibility and your preference for remanufactured ink. The two black cartridges, 62XL format, and stated yield give you clear points to compare with other replacement options, while the buyer reports suggest that print results and duration are not experienced consistently. It may not suit you if you need assured consistency with original cartridges or your exact printer model is not listed. For a compatible ENVY or OfficeJet used mainly for black documents, it is a straightforward format to consider, provided you are comfortable with the trade-offs of a remanufactured cartridge.
