E-Z Ink Pro 218X Compatible Toner Cartridge 4-Pack with Chips
Product description
Choosing toner depends on whether you need one replacement color or a complete set. This E-Z Ink Pro 218X bundle includes black, cyan, yellow, and magenta cartridges. Each cartridge comes with a chip already installed, so there is no chip-transfer step described for setup.
What stands out
The pack is intended for select HP Color LaserJet Pro printers, including the MFP 3301fdw, 3301cdw, and 3301sdw, as well as the Color Pro 3201dw. That makes it relevant when you need a full set for one of these listed models rather than a single replacement cartridge. Compatibility is specific, though: the product information says it is not compatible with printers enrolled in HP+.
Its main practical distinction is the preinstalled chip. The listing says you do not need to move the chip from an OEM cartridge to these cartridges. That may simplify the replacement process, but the information provided does not establish how the cartridges perform in every printer or print job.
Key features
The set contains one black 218X toner cartridge and one each in cyan, yellow, and magenta. The stated page yield is 3,200 pages for black and 2,500 pages per color cartridge, based on 5% coverage of A4 paper. Actual page counts can vary with coverage, so these figures are best treated as estimates tied to that stated measurement rather than a guarantee for every document.
A complete CMYK pack makes sense when several colors need replacing or when keeping all four toner colors on hand is useful. If you only need to replace one color now, buying a four-cartridge set may be more than the immediate task requires. It’s a great fit if your printer is one of the listed models and you want all four toner colors together. It’s not for you if your printer is enrolled in HP+, according to the compatibility warning.
Getting the most from it
Before choosing this set, match your printer’s full model number against the listed devices. The compatibility information names the Color LaserJet Pro MFP 3301fdw, 3301cdw, and 3301sdw, plus the Color Pro 3201dw, the product title also refers to the 3301 series. Don’t assume that a similar-looking model is covered if it is not identified in the supplied compatibility details.
Because the chips are already installed, the listing does not call for transferring a chip from an original cartridge. Keep the yield figures in context when estimating how long the set might last: pages with heavier toner coverage may not match the stated 5% coverage basis.
Questions before you buy
Which printers are listed as compatible? The product information names the HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 3301fdw, 3301cdw, and 3301sdw, and the Color Pro 3201dw. Check your exact model against that list.
Can I use this with an HP+ enrolled printer? No. The listing says these cartridges are not compatible with HP+ enrolled printers, which require Original HP Toner.
What comes in the package, and what yields are stated? It includes one black, one cyan, one yellow, and one magenta cartridge. The stated yields are 3,200 pages for black and 2,500 pages for each color cartridge, based on 5% coverage of A4 paper.
Buying verdict
This 218X four-pack is worth considering when you have a listed compatible printer, need all four colors, and want cartridges with chips already installed. Its clearest reasons to pass are also specific: an HP+ enrolled printer is excluded, and a full set may not suit a one-color replacement need. If you prioritize matching a particular printer, verify its exact model before choosing the pack.
