ULANZI ST-06S Phone Tripod Mount with 360° Rotation and Dual Cold Shoes

Choose a simple phone position for a quick clip, or build a more flexible setup for video with a microphone or light. The ULANZI ST-06S phone mount is designed to support both approaches. Its rotating holder and dual cold shoes make it useful for tripod filming, vlogging, and phone-as-monitor setups.

Tech summary

The ST-06S holds a phone measuring 2.36–3.54 inches wide and mounts to a tripod. Its 360° rotation lets you switch between horizontal and vertical framing, including vertical video, while the adjustable pitch angle helps direct the screen toward you or position it for monitoring. A silicone pad in the phone holder helps protect the phone from scratches during setup.

Two cold shoe mounts provide space for a microphone and an LED video light at the same time. That gives creators a way to add audio and lighting accessories around the phone without relying on a clamp that only holds the device. The mount weighs 51 g, so it is easy to carry in a bag or pocket between filming locations.

The ST-06S is also described for use with camera hot shoes and named camera and gimbal setups, including Sony and Canon cameras and DJI Ronin S/SC and Zhiyun Crane gimbals. It can serve as a phone monitor mount in a camera setup. For a phone-only tripod arrangement, the key distinction is its accessory-ready design, for a setup that needs a phone screen alongside camera equipment, the adjustable pitch and mounting options are especially relevant.

Best use cases

For a short social video at home or on location, mount the phone vertically, set the viewing angle, and use the two cold shoes for a microphone and LED light. For a landscape interview or a steady recipe demonstration, rotate the holder to match the shot and attach it to a tripod. The ability to change orientation and pitch makes the same mount adaptable to different framing needs without changing the phone holder.

It also suits a camera rig where a phone is used as a monitor, with compatibility described for selected camera hot shoes and gimbals. Buyers often praise the mount’s versatility and ease of use, while feedback on stability and sturdiness is mixed. That makes secure positioning important when arranging a phone for filming, the adjustable, rotating design is most useful when you want to tailor the setup rather than use a fixed-angle phone clamp.

In the box

The package includes one ST-06S phone holder and an M4 Allen wrench. The holder’s adjustable clamp accommodates phones within its stated 2.36–3.54-inch width range, giving you a clear fit check before setting up your filming position.

Final verdict

The ULANZI ST-06S is a practical choice for creators who want one compact phone mount for tripod shots, vertical or horizontal video, and accessory-supported filming. Its dual cold shoes, adjustable pitch, and full rotation support more varied setups than a basic phone clamp, while its 51 g weight keeps it portable for everyday filming and travel.
