Insta360 Phone Gimbal Flow 2 Pro

If you mainly need a steadier phone for casual clips, a simple grip may be enough, the Insta360 Flow 2 Pro is aimed at people who also want tracking and hands-free framing. Its pitch is less about adding a handle and more about keeping a moving subject or a group in view while you film. For a travel vlog, that could mean setting it on its built-in tripod, stepping into the shot, and letting tracking follow you instead of asking someone else to hold the phone. The bundle includes an AI Tracker and several filming accessories, though the listing leaves out some details that matter for phone fit.

Best use cases

This phone gimbal is designed for vlogging, travel, livestreaming, sports clips, and family video. Native tracking is described as working across more than 200 third-party apps, including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, with support for iPhone and Android. That broad app focus is useful if you want to record inside the apps you already use rather than relying only on a dedicated camera workflow.

Multi-person tracking is another practical draw for group scenes. Set up a family clip or dance video, then let the gimbal frame the group as people move. For action, the product lists Active Zoom Tracking up to 15x, that may help keep a distant subject in view, but the listing doesn’t explain how tracking behaves in every sport or recording condition. A more demanding production may still call for a separate camera setup and more control over the shot.

Product specs

The Flow 2 Pro uses 3-axis stabilization and supports continuous 360-degree pan tracking. It also includes Free Tilt Mode, which is intended to maintain an angle as the phone moves up or down. The bundle is listed in gray and includes an AI Tracker, magnetic phone mount, USB-C to USB-A charging cable, built-in tripod, selfie stick, selfie mirror, and teleprompter. A fill light is also named in the product title, but the listing doesn’t provide its brightness or adjustment details.

One buying detail remains unresolved: no supported phone-size or weight range is given. If you use a large phone or a bulky case, judging fit is difficult without that measurement. The listing also doesn’t spell out battery runtime, so it’s hard to tell how it will suit a long day of continuous filming.

Where it shines

The appeal is the combination of tracking, stabilization, and ways to position the phone. On a trip, for example, you could place the gimbal on a table or level surface, start a clip, and walk into frame for a hands-free shot, the selfie stick offers another way to change framing. What matters more for your footage: reducing shake, or keeping yourself in the shot while you move? This bundle is set up to address both, rather than focusing only on stabilization.

The 360-degree pan feature may also help when filming movement that crosses the frame, while multi-person tracking targets scenes where one person isn’t the only subject. Still, tracking features don’t guarantee perfect framing in every setting, and the source gives no detail about low-light performance or how the fill light affects image quality.

When it makes sense

Worth considering if you film yourself, groups, or moving subjects on a phone and want tracking tools plus a tripod and selfie stick in one kit. It’s a more involved choice than a basic phone grip, especially if you expect to use app-based tracking or hands-free framing regularly. Better avoided if you only need a simple way to hold your phone steady, or if you need confirmed fit and runtime details before choosing, those specifications aren’t provided here.
