TOSY P1.MPG.X2 Magnet Pyramid Glow Puzzle, 2-Pack with UV Flashlight

The 2-pack includes two 12-piece magnetic pyramid puzzles for open-ended building. Each set can form up to 1 billion shapes, from geometric patterns to original creations. Holographic stickers glow after activation with the included UV flashlight. It’s a hands-on activity for solo experimenting or building together.

Practical tips

Start by connecting the magnetic pieces into a pyramid, then rearrange them to explore different shapes. The included spinner accessory adds another way to play with a build, while the UV flashlight activates the stickers’ glow for low-light viewing. For a shared activity, two players can create separate designs or connect additional pyramid cubes to make larger structures.

The included booklet, instructional videos, and TOSY app offer ideas to help get a new build started. The toy is recommended for ages 6 and up. It uses two C batteries, which are included, for its operation.

Why it’s worth it

This puzzle centers on changing and recombining pieces rather than completing one fixed design. That makes it a practical pick for kids who enjoy experimenting with shapes, patterns, and imaginative builds. Its hands-on format supports creative thinking, shape recognition, dexterity, and hand-eye coordination, while the two-pyramid set gives siblings or friends their own pieces to work with or combine.

The glow effect adds a visual twist to building, and the included spinner offers another way to interact with a finished creation. Customer feedback often highlights the toy as a fun gift and a way to encourage learning, including exploring spatial relationships. Opinions differ on magnet strength and durability, so feedback is not uniform on how securely the pieces connect or how well they hold up over time. Some buyers also describe the pieces as smaller than expected, making the small format worth keeping in mind when choosing a gift.

When it makes sense

Choose this set when you want a compact, open-ended building activity with a glow feature, rather than a puzzle focused on one prescribed solution. It suits you if the recipient likes arranging magnetic pieces, making different shapes, and sharing a creative activity. The two sets can be used separately for parallel play or connected with more pyramid cubes for larger builds, giving the toy room to grow from individual shape exploration into a collaborative project.
