Toinkbea Black Ink Cartridges 280XXL

Fit and sizing

Running low on black ink can interrupt a report or a batch of everyday documents, and this three-pack is intended to keep compatible Canon printers supplied with large PGBK cartridges. The listing names a broad range of models, including the TR8620a, TR8600, TR8622a, TR8620, TR8520, TS9120, TS9521c, TS6120, and TS8220. Check your printer’s exact model and the cartridge number it requires before ordering: compatibility is the main decision point here, and a similar-looking cartridge is not enough to confirm a fit. Each cartridge has a pre-installed smart chip for printer recognition, according to the product details.

The package contains three black PGI-280XXL cartridges, not a mixed-color set. That makes it relevant if black ink is what you replace most often, but less useful if you need to replenish several colors at the same time. Do you mostly print text, or do your pages regularly include large dark graphics? That difference matters because the stated yield is based on 5% page coverage. The estimate is up to 600 pages per cartridge under that condition, pages with heavier ink coverage may use it more quickly. Without that measurement for your own print jobs, treat the page count as a reference rather than a guaranteed result.

Pros

• Three large black cartridges provide a ready replacement supply for a supported printer.
• A pre-installed smart chip is included, which the listing says helps with installation and printer recognition.
• The listed yield is up to 600 pages per cartridge at 5% coverage, a useful reference for mostly text-based printing.
• The product is described as a replacement for PGI-280XXL, it is non-refillable.

The practical upside is straightforward: if black text is the ink you use most, keeping a spare cartridge on hand can help avoid stopping midway through routine printing. The trade-off is that this pack covers black only, and the yield figure depends on how much ink each page uses. It also does not suit someone specifically looking for refillable cartridges.

When it makes sense

Worth considering if your printer is one of the listed Canon models and you want multiple large black cartridges for documents, reports, or other mostly text-based jobs. It’s not for you if your printer’s model or required cartridge number does not match, you need a color-ink set, or you want a refillable option. Compared with buying a mixed-color pack, this one focuses on black replacements, that is the more practical approach when black is the supply you regularly run through, but not when you need to restock color ink too. The listing also does not provide information about performance beyond its stated yield and chip, so buyers who need a specific output guarantee should weigh that limitation before choosing it.
