E-Z Ink toner cartridge D1160

Where it shines

When you need to restock a compatible mono laser printer for everyday black-and-white documents, this E-Z Ink replacement set offers two black toner cartridges for the listed Dell models. That makes it a practical format for keeping a spare on hand instead of ordering one cartridge at a time. The listing also includes a user guide, though it does not describe any special setup steps.

It’s a great fit if you print routine text documents and want a two-cartridge supply for a supported printer.

Key points

Compatibility is the first thing to check: the cartridges are listed for Dell B1160, B1160w, B1163w, and B1165nfw mono laser printers. The product name also references D1160, but the compatibility list specifically names those four models, so match your printer against that list before choosing. A replacement cartridge that fits the printer you own matters more than a broad claim of compatibility.

Each cartridge is rated for 1,500 pages at 5% coverage. That figure gives you a useful comparison point, not a guaranteed count for every job. A page made mostly of text may use toner differently from one with heavy graphics or large areas of black. The listing does not provide a yield estimate for other coverage levels, so without that measurement, the actual number of pages is hard to predict. E-Z Ink says its refined toner powder is intended to produce clear text and images, there are no independent performance details in the product information to quantify that claim.

In practice, the two-pack suits a home or small office that prints regular forms, notes, or work documents and would rather have a replacement ready than wait until a cartridge runs out. If you prioritize having another cartridge available, the two-pack is a sensible format, if you prefer to buy only what you need right now, a single replacement may be a better match. It may not suit you if your printer model is not on the compatibility list or your work depends on a specific yield for graphics-heavy pages.

Best use cases

This set is aimed at black-and-white printing on the named mono laser printers, rather than color output or a general-purpose toner purchase. For example, if you print a stack of office forms one day and a few pages of correspondence the next, having a second cartridge in the box gives you a ready replacement when the first is depleted. The listing does not specify installation instructions beyond including a user guide, so anyone looking for detailed setup support should not assume more is included.

Compared with buying a single cartridge, this package prioritizes having a backup available. Compared with choosing toner solely by its stated page yield, it also calls for a careful model match: the 1,500-page figure is tied to 5% coverage, while real documents can vary. Check both details against how and where you print before deciding.

Final verdict

Choose this E-Z Ink set if you own one of the listed Dell mono laser printers, mainly print black-and-white documents, and want two replacement cartridges in one package. The stated 1,500-page yield per cartridge is helpful for rough planning, but it should not be read as a promise for dense or image-heavy printing. If your printer is not named in the compatibility list, or you need a dependable page count for a particular workload, this listing leaves important questions unanswered.
