Buyers often praise the straightforward assembly and weather-resistant shelter, feedback on size is mixed, so the listed dimensions are useful when planning its placement.

How to use it

Connect the collapsible house at its Velcro seams to assemble it without tools, then place it in a suitable indoor or outdoor spot. The design is intended for settings such as a garden, barn, or entry area, where cats can use a defined resting shelter. Four door flaps provide different options: the transparent curtains help block wind and rain, while the mesh curtains allow more airflow. Which setup best suits the conditions where you plan to place the house?

For routine cleaning, separate the shelter at the Velcro seams and wipe its surface with mild soap and warm water. Let it air-dry. The internal mats are machine washable, dry them naturally in a cool, well-ventilated area. This care routine helps keep the resting area ready for regular use.

Included in the package

The package contains four flap doors, one padded mat, one cooling mat, six elevated plastic base pieces, and two windproof stakes. The two mats let you choose a cushioned resting surface or a cooling surface according to the conditions and your cat’s needs. The base pieces raise the shelter, and the stakes are provided for securing it.

Final verdict

For people setting up a dedicated shelter for stray, feral, or barn cats, the Texsens combines an elevated base with insulated panels, weather-resistant construction, and interchangeable door curtains. Its collapsible Velcro assembly and washable mats also make it practical to set up and maintain. With a roof window for a quick view inside and both padded and cooling mats included, it suits outdoor resting spaces where a simple, unheated cat shelter is the goal.
