The square format works as a focused cover for the part of a sofa where a pet likes to lounge, rather than as a full-sofa slipcover. Use it on a couch or sofa, or place it on a floor, bed, recliner, loveseat, or car seat as a designated resting area. Its soft feel gives pets a comfortable place to settle, while the cover helps keep fur and everyday dirt off the underlying surface. The backing is designed to help limit movement on leather and fabric couches, customer feedback on how well it stays put varies, so placement and the furniture surface can affect the experience.

Everyday use

Keep the cover in a favorite lounging spot to create a practical layer between pets and furniture. It can also be placed where muddy paws or shedding are part of the daily routine, then machine washed when it needs cleaning. The polyester fabric and easy-care design suit households looking for a washable alternative to using a loose household blanket as a pet’s regular couch spot. This cover is not water resistant, so it is intended for fur, dirt, and everyday mess rather than as a barrier against liquid spills.

Buyers often appreciate the cover’s appearance, fit, washability, and use as a cozy pet spot. Feedback about staying in place and durability is mixed: some say it remains secure and holds up, while others report shifting or wear after washing. Following the machine-wash care instruction helps keep cleaning aligned with the product’s stated care requirements.

Included in the package

The package includes one couch cover. Use it as a single-area protector on a sofa or as a soft pet resting surface in another suitable spot around the home or in the car.

Before you decide

Will this cover fit an entire sofa? The cover measures 27.6" x 27.6", so it is intended to protect a defined area rather than cover an entire sofa. Measure the spot you want to protect and compare it with those dimensions.

Can I machine wash it? Yes. The care instructions specify machine washing, which makes it suitable for regular cleanup as pet hair and dirt collect.

Can it protect against liquid spills? It is not water resistant. Its stated use is to help protect furniture from fur, dirt, and everyday pet messes, not to provide a liquid-proof layer.

Should you buy it?

Choose the Smiry FLRCWDZ02 if you want a washable, soft cover for a specific pet lounging area and prefer a defined couch protector over a loose blanket. Its square size, polyester construction, and slip-resistant design make it a practical fit for everyday pet spots on furniture, floors, beds, or car seats.
