Summsun Outdoor Bench Cushion Pad, 48 x 18 x 3 Inch, Black
Product description
High-resilience foam gives this 48 x 18 x 3-inch bench cushion a firm, supportive feel for outdoor seating. Its black polyester cover is water resistant, removable, and machine washable, making it a practical way to refresh a garden bench, porch swing, or patio seat.
Choose this cushion when you want a defined seat pad with ties to help keep it in place. For a different setup, a thinner cover may suit someone looking mainly to change a seat’s appearance, this 3-inch foam pad adds cushioning as well as a simple black finish.
Key features
The cushion has a rectangular shape and a 3-inch thickness, with resilient foam designed for a firm feel. That makes it suited to benches and other outdoor seating where you want a layer between you and a hard seat. Its black, plain polyester fabric pairs easily with a range of outdoor settings, from a front porch to a garden seating area.
The water-resistant fabric helps handle everyday splashes, while its fade-resistant and stain-resistant features are useful for a cushion used outdoors. The cover also has a hidden zipper, so it can be removed for machine washing. Ties help secure the pad to the furniture, and piped edges give the cushion a neat, finished outline.
Buyers particularly mention the firm feel, black color, and fit on porch swings. Some also appreciate how water beads on the fabric. These are customer impressions, while the cushion’s practical features include its removable cover, ties, and water-resistant fabric.
Size & fit
At 48 x 18 inches with a 3-inch thickness, the cushion is intended for bench-style outdoor seating, including garden benches, porch swings, and patio furniture. Measure the seat’s length and depth before choosing a cushion so you can compare its footprint with the furniture. The ties offer a way to attach it once positioned, helping keep the pad aligned during regular use.
Getting the most from it
Use the cushion on an outdoor bench, swing, or similar seating surface when you want a firm foam layer and a removable cover for routine care. For cleaning, unzip the cover and machine wash it with cold water, spot-clean the inner filling. The water-resistant fabric is suited to everyday outdoor use, but for heavy rain or extended wet weather, bring the cushion indoors or protect it with a cover. Allow the foam to expand after unpacking before placing it on the furniture.
