SIMISI RIBBON Olive Green Crushed Velvet Wired Ribbon, 2.5-Inch, 10 Yards

For Christmas decorating that calls for a shaped bow or a soft-textured accent, this SIMISI RIBBON combines olive green crushed velvet with a wired edge. The listing specifies a 2.5-inch width and 10-yard length. Its wire can help bows and trim hold their shape, while the velvet offers a different look from basic, untextured ribbon. The product information does not specify weather resistance, so its outdoor use is described as decoration rather than a guarantee of exposure durability.

Technical overview

This is a solid-color velvet ribbon intended for Christmas projects, with a classic style and a wired edge. The crushed texture adds visual detail, and the product description notes a gold backing on the double-sided ribbon. That combination gives you more than a plain strip of green fabric to work with: it can show a contrasting backing when folded or shaped, depending on how you use it.

• Type: Wired decorative ribbon
• Color: Olive green
• Material: Velvet
• Size: 2.5 inches wide, 10 yards long
• Pattern: Solid
• Occasion: Christmas

The wire is the practical distinction for bows, loops, and trim that need shaping. A non-wired ribbon may suit projects where a softer, freely draping finish matters more, this version is aimed at decorations where you want to form and adjust the ribbon. The product description also calls it reusable, though it does not give care or storage instructions.

Practical tips

For a tree, garland, wreath, or front-door decoration, shape the ribbon into loops or accents before attaching it, then use the wired edge to adjust the outline. Its 2.5-inch width is suited to noticeable decorative details, while the 10-yard length gives you material for more than a single small bow. If you are planning a coordinated display, consider how the olive green and gold backing will look alongside the other colors and finishes in the space.

The listed uses also include candles, pet collars, and other craft projects. Those are possible decorating applications, not product-specific safety or fit claims. In particular, the listing does not provide guidance for placing the ribbon near flames or for sizing it to an animal, so those uses call for your own project-appropriate judgment. Customers have also described the velvet as workable, which may be useful if you expect to shape it rather than leave it flat.

What’s included

The product details list one item in one pack. The listing identifies the ribbon as 2.5 inches wide and 10 yards long, it does not specify any additional accessories. Worth considering if you want velvet texture, a gold backing, and a wired edge in one Christmas-decorating ribbon. You may want to skip it if your project specifically calls for a non-wired ribbon or a documented outdoor-durability rating.

Is it worth it?

This ribbon makes sense for holiday projects where color, texture, and a shapeable edge matter as much as length. It can be used for tree accents, bows, wreaths, or garlands, and the solid olive green keeps the design straightforward while the crushed velvet and gold backing add detail. Compared with plain ribbon, the wired construction gives you more control over formed loops and trim, compared with a simpler, unstructured ribbon, it is less suited to a project that depends on a loose, flowing drape. The 2.5-inch width and 10-yard length are clearly stated, but the available details do not establish how it will hold up to outdoor exposure or provide care instructions. Choose it for decorative shaping and velvet texture, not on the assumption that it is weatherproof.
