TONOR 22163 Hexagon Acoustic Panels, Self-Adhesive Polyester, Orange, 12 Pack
Product description
For a recording space where room echo is getting in the way, the TONOR 22163 acoustic panels offer a simple wall-treatment approach: a 12-pack of orange, hexagon-shaped polyester panels with self-adhesive backing. They are intended to absorb reflections in rooms such as studios, home offices, and gaming spaces, rather than fully soundproof a room.
Each panel measures 12 x 10 x 0.4 inches. The adhesive backing avoids the need to buy separate glue, and the honeycomb-style layout can also add a decorative pattern to a wall.
Who it’s for
These panels are aimed at people looking to manage echo in a room used for recording, podcasting, gaming, or focused work. In a home podcast setup, for example, placing panels on a suitable wall may help reduce sound reflections picked up in the room. The orange finish and hexagon shape are also relevant if the treatment will remain visible rather than being hidden behind other fixtures.
They make more sense for improving the sound within a room than for blocking all sound traveling between rooms. The manufacturer specifically notes that the panels can reduce washing-machine noise but cannot completely eliminate it. If the main concern is noise transmission through a wall, this is not a substitute for a sound-isolation solution.
Where it shines
The self-adhesive format is useful when you want to apply acoustic treatment without preparing a separate glue or tape setup. The listed suitable surfaces include smooth, dry wood, glass, painted walls, metal, marble, and tile. Cleaning the surface before attaching the panels is part of the manufacturer’s installation guidance.
A 12-panel set gives you a defined quantity for planning a small treatment area or adding panels to an existing room setup. Compared with a basic, undecorated foam treatment, these panels bring a distinct hexagon pattern and orange color. Buyers often praise the appearance and report improvements in sound quality, including a noticeable difference in a podcast setup. Feedback on how much noise they reduce is mixed, however, so results should not be treated as full sound isolation.

The product description also claims reductions in echo and some noise, but those figures do not mean the panels will prevent sound from passing through a wall. Their stated purpose is room treatment, especially reducing reflections.
Before you decide
Do these panels need separate glue? No. They have self-adhesive backing, the guidance is to clean the surface, peel off the backing, and apply them to a suitable area.
Can they completely block appliance noise? No. The manufacturer says they may reduce noise from a washing machine but cannot completely eliminate it. Choose a different approach if blocking transmitted noise is the main goal.
What surfaces are listed for installation? Smooth, dry wood, glass, painted walls, metal, marble, and tile are named. Buyers report mixed experiences with the adhesive, so surface preparation and placement matter.
Is it worth it?
Worth considering if you want a visible, self-adhesive treatment for echo in a home studio, office, or gaming room, and the orange hexagon design suits the space. You may want to skip it if you need reliable sound isolation or expect panels alone to silence a noisy appliance. Buyer feedback is also divided on adhesive performance and value, so the strongest case for this set is targeted room-echo treatment—not a promise of a quiet room.
