SANSUI ES-24X5AL 23.8-Inch FHD Monitor, 75Hz, FreeSync, HDMI and VGA

Choosing a monitor for everyday work, gaming, and entertainment calls for a screen that can handle more than one kind of setup. The SANSUI ES-24X5AL pairs Full HD resolution with HDMI and VGA connections for flexible wired use.

Its 23.8-inch matte display has a 1920 x 1080 resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio. The screen’s anti-glare finish and 178-degree viewing angle make it practical for a desk where viewing position can vary.

FreeSync, a 75Hz refresh rate, and a 1ms response time add features for gaming, while flicker-free and low-blue-light settings support comfortable everyday viewing.

Best use cases

Set it up as a home or office display for documents, web browsing, and video. Full HD resolution gives text and images a clear, familiar format on the 23.8-inch screen, and the matte surface helps reduce reflections from nearby light sources. Its 178-degree viewing angle also supports viewing from different positions around a desk.

For gaming and entertainment, FreeSync and the 75Hz refresh rate are useful display features, while the 1ms response time is suited to responsive on-screen action. Connect a compatible device through HDMI or VGA, an HDMI cable is included. The monitor does not have built-in speakers or a headphone jack, so plan on a separate audio setup when sound is needed.

Pros

The screen combines practical viewing and setup features without making the display difficult to place. Tilt adjustment ranges from -5° to 22°, allowing you to angle it for your desk position. Its 75 x 75mm VESA compatibility also gives you the option to use a compatible wall or monitor mount instead of the included stand.

Flicker-free and low-blue-light features provide additional display settings for extended everyday use. The 4000:1 contrast ratio and HDR picture enhancement technology add further image options, while HDMI and VGA accommodate wired connections across compatible devices. Buyers highlight the crisp Full HD picture and gaming use, feedback on color and screen consistency is mixed, so individual preferences and setup can shape the viewing experience.

What matters most

This monitor suits shoppers who want a straightforward Full HD display with both HDMI and VGA, rather than choosing a screen around a single connection type. For a typical desk setup, HDMI provides a simple way to connect a compatible computer or other device, VGA offers another wired input option. The matte finish, tilt adjustment, and VESA mounting compatibility help tailor placement to the workspace.

The display measures 21.3 inches wide, 8.3 inches deep, and 15.6 inches high. It comes with an HDMI cable, power adapter, quick-start guide, user manual, and warranty card. Its black finish and rectangular shape keep the look understated for home or office desks.

Should you buy it?

Choose the SANSUI ES-24X5AL if you need a 23.8-inch Full HD monitor for work, gaming, or entertainment and value flexible wired connections and mounting options. The combination of a matte screen, adjustable tilt, FreeSync, and HDMI/VGA makes it a practical fit for a general-purpose desk, whether you keep it on its stand or use a compatible VESA mount.
