PLCHXFYJR YBZ01 89108000 Bathroom Fan Light Lens Cover, ABS (2)
Product description
Some bathroom fan repairs call for replacing the complete unit, others may only need a new light lens. This PLCHXFYJR replacement cover is made for select Broan-NuTone fan light models. It is an aftermarket ABS plastic part, not a complete fan or light assembly. Matching the existing model is important before ordering.

The main buying question is whether this cover matches the fan already installed. The model list is specific, so compare the label on your existing unit with the listed compatible models rather than relying only on a similar appearance. This is a focused replacement for the lens cover, it does not provide the fan, light, or other assembly components. If the existing fan or light itself needs attention, a lens alone will not address that repair.
Tips for day-to-day use
The smooth ABS surface is described as easy to clean, which can be useful in a bathroom where dust and moisture collect on vent covers. The listing says installation requires no tools and takes less than two minutes, but actual fit depends on having a compatible model. Remove the old cover and compare its shape and mounting points with the replacement before fitting it. Avoid forcing a part that does not sit correctly, a mismatch may indicate that the fan model is not among those listed.
For someone maintaining an otherwise working fan and light, replacing just the lens is a more targeted approach than buying a full fan assembly. That makes sense when the cover is the part that needs replacement. The product description identifies the plastic as ABS and calls this an aftermarket alternative, so it is not an original Broan-NuTone component. Its stated compatibility and reference numbers are the useful checks for deciding whether it suits your repair.
What’s included
The product title ends with “(2),” indicating a two-piece listing. However, the technical details do not separately itemize the included components. Treat the listing’s quantity notation as the available indication of what is supplied, and match the replacement reference and fan model before relying on it for a repair.
Questions before you buy
Which fan models are listed as compatible? The stated models are 763RLN, 769RF, 769RFT, 769RL, 770F, VF705RCN, and VF707RCN. Check your fan’s model information against this list before choosing the cover.
Is this an original Broan-NuTone part? No. The listing describes it as an aftermarket replacement and says it is not affiliated with or endorsed by the manufacturers mentioned.
Does installation require tools? The product information describes installation as tool-free. It does not provide a separate installation guide, so fit should still be checked against the existing unit.
When it makes sense
It suits you if the lens cover is the part you need to replace and your fan model appears in the compatibility list. The listed ABS construction and tool-free installation claim make it a straightforward type of replacement to consider for routine maintenance. It might not be a great match if you need a complete fan or light assembly, or if your model is not among those named. In those cases, this cover alone does not meet the repair need.
