Piteno DS1200 Clear Double-Sided Adhesive Dots, 1,200 Count, 6mm

Clear, double-sided acrylic dots offer a low-visibility way to attach posters, pictures, and craft pieces without using a strip of tape across the surface. This Piteno set includes 1,200 dots measuring 0.24" (6mm) in diameter, so it suits small, individual attachments and projects that need multiple points of contact.

The dots are listed as removable and waterproof, and the maker describes them as flexible and repositionable. Those features may be useful for temporary displays or decorating, but the product details do not specify a supported weight or how long a bond will last on a particular surface.

What matters most

Each dot has adhesive on both sides and is made from transparent acrylic. The clear finish is intended to be less noticeable than opaque putty or a visible piece of tape, especially when attaching paper decorations or small craft elements. The listed compatible materials include ceramic, glass, metal, plastic, and wood, the product is also described for arts and crafts. Surface condition and the item being attached can affect how well an adhesive holds, so the material list should not be read as a guarantee for every object or finish.

The quantity is a practical differentiator: the set contains five sheets with 240 dots per sheet, for 1,200 total. At 0.24" each, these are small-format dots rather than broad mounting pads. Need a less visible alternative to tape for a small paper decoration? Their round, clear shape is suited to that kind of detail, while larger or heavier objects call for a mounting method with a stated load capacity. No weight rating is provided here.

Who it’s for

These dots make the most sense for people who regularly assemble crafts, arrange classroom decorations, or put up lightweight posters and pictures. They can also help keep small decorative pieces in place on listed surfaces. For example, someone preparing a classroom display could use individual dots behind paper cutouts rather than running tape along each edge.

Buyer feedback is mixed on the points that matter most in use. Some say the dots work well for posters, figurines, banners, and craft projects, others report inconsistent stickiness, durability, or ease of placement. Opinions on the size differ, too. That makes the large count useful for repeated projects, but it is worth keeping expectations measured if dependable adhesion is essential.

Best use cases

Choose this format for lightweight, small-scale decoration where a transparent attachment point is preferable to visible tape. The dots are also suited to craft layouts, layered artwork, and other projects where separate pieces need to be positioned one at a time. The included protective film is removed before use, according to the product description.

Compared with ordinary tape, individual dots allow placement at specific points without a long strip crossing the item. A solid pick if you want a large supply of clear adhesive pieces for crafts and temporary displays. For installations where an item must stay securely mounted for a long time, a mounting product with a clearly stated load limit may be a more appropriate approach.

Should you buy it?

Piteno DS1200 is worth considering when the priority is a plentiful supply of small, transparent, double-sided dots for posters, decorations, and craft work. The 6mm size and 1,200-count pack are useful details for planning a project that needs many discreet attachment points. Not the best choice if the job depends on a known weight capacity or consistent long-term hold: neither is established in the product details, and buyers report varied results with stickiness and durability.
