Staples Cardstock Paper, 8.5 x 11 in, Matte White, 110 lb, 250 Sheets

Print invitations for a family gathering, prepare certificates for a school event, or create sturdy menus for a business. Staples matte white cardstock gives these projects a letter-size sheet and a smooth surface for text and images.

Its 110 lb stock is designed for pieces that benefit from a firmer feel than standard printer paper, while the white background offers contrast for black and color ink.

Choose it for printed materials that need more body, use standard printer paper when the job is mainly everyday documents. The familiar 8.5 x 11-inch format fits a range of home and office printing tasks.

Getting the most from it

Use the sheets for invitations, greeting cards, business cards, award certificates, report covers, postcards, restaurant menus, and signage. The smooth matte surface supports printed text and pictures, and the 92-brightness white background helps keep lettering readable and colors distinct. Its standard letter size also makes it practical for projects that begin in common home or office printers and copiers.

For a coordinated set of printed pieces, the 250-sheet pack gives you a supply of matching stock for repeated projects. Plan the layout around the letter-size sheet, then print the materials needed for an event, classroom, or workplace in the same format. The product description identifies the cardstock for use in laser and inkjet printers and copiers.

Where it shines

This cardstock is suited to printed pieces that are handled or displayed, such as certificates, report covers, invitations, and menus. For a school project, it can provide a sturdier base for a presentation page, for a small business, the same letter-size stock can be used for menus or signage. The matte white finish keeps the look clean, while the smooth surface accommodates both text and images.

Buyers commonly praise the paper for homemade cards, sturdiness, and clear, vibrant print results. Feedback varies on the perceived shade and thickness, so consider the stated matte white color and 110 lb weight when choosing stock for a project where those details matter. Some buyers also describe it as good value.

When it makes sense

It’s a great fit if you want one letter-size cardstock for a mix of personal, school, and office printing projects, rather than buying a different format for each task. The 250-sheet pack is useful when you need multiple matching invitations, certificates, or printed materials, and the firm stock suits projects where ordinary printer paper is not the intended finish. Choose it for a practical combination of a smooth matte surface, bright white background, and broad project use.
