P7yaumy 1600ANE Double-Sided Mounting Tape, 0.39 in x 16.5 ft, White PE Foam

For posters, photos, and other items you want to mount without drilling, this double-sided tape offers a peel-and-stick alternative. The white PE foam tape is 0.39 inches wide and 16.5 feet long. It is described as waterproof and removable, with use intended on smooth, clean surfaces. No load rating is provided, so the listed uses should not be taken as proof that it can support heavier items.

The essentials

The P7yaumy 1600ANE is a roll of double-sided mounting tape made from polyethylene foam. Its narrow profile suits jobs where a wide strip would be visually distracting, while the roll length gives you tape for multiple mounting tasks. Suggested uses include posters, photos, frames, wall stickers, carpet gripping, craft projects, and home or office décor.

The tape is intended for smooth surfaces such as glass, plastic, metal, marble, ceramic, and painted walls. That range makes it a flexible option for simple attachments where drilling or liquid adhesive would be inconvenient. It is still an adhesive strip rather than a mechanical fastener: for heavier or valuable objects, the lack of a stated weight limit makes it difficult to judge whether it is suitable.

Customer feedback is mixed on the point that matters most: some buyers report a strong hold, while others say the tape does not adhere well. Durability comments are also divided, with some finding it stays put and others reporting that it can come loose over time. That variation is worth weighing if a failed bond could damage an item or create a safety concern.

Size & fit

At 0.39 inches wide and 16.5 feet long, the roll is suited to applying narrow strips across more than one project. The white foam may be less noticeable behind light-colored items, though the tape is not described as invisible in every application. You’ll appreciate it if you need a compact roll for several posters, decorations, or craft tasks rather than a single pre-cut mounting strip.

The product details list smooth, clean surfaces as the intended fit. It may not suit you if the surface is rough or dirty, since those conditions fall outside the stated preparation and application guidance. There is no listed load capacity to help match the tape to heavier objects.

Practical tips

Clean and dry the surface before applying the tape, and make sure it is smooth. The supplied directions also suggest warming the tape with a hair dryer for removal. The tape is marketed as removable without residue, but buyer reports about adhesion and durability vary, so test a discreet spot first when the finish matters.

For a lightweight poster or decoration on a suitable surface, this offers a drill-free alternative to screws or other mechanical fasteners. Those fasteners remain the more measurable choice when an object needs secure support, since this tape has no stated weight rating. For carpet or rug-grip use, apply it only where the surfaces are clean and smooth as directed.

Is it worth it?

The P7yaumy 1600ANE is worth considering for straightforward mounting and craft jobs where a narrow, double-sided PE foam tape is useful and the surface meets the stated conditions. Its roll format and range of suggested uses make it more adaptable than buying a single-purpose strip for each small task. The main trade-off is uncertainty about how consistently it holds: customer experiences differ, and the product details do not specify a maximum supported weight. Choose it for applications where you can prepare the surface and check the bond, choose a fastener with a stated capacity when dependable support for a heavier item is essential.
