Pawmate 6.5-Inch Chicken-Wrapped Rawhide Dog Bones, Taurine, 4 Count

For a dog settling in for a chew, Pawmate’s chicken-wrapped rawhide bone offers a substantial treat in a 6.5-inch format. The pack contains four bones for planned chewing sessions at home.

Chicken breast wraps the rawhide, bringing together two flavors in a bone-shaped chew. Taurine is also listed as a special ingredient.

Designed for medium and large dogs, these chews are intended for dental care and mental stimulation. Their long-lasting chew format gives dogs a focused activity beyond a quick training bite.

What to know

Each bone combines rawhide with chicken and is described as a long-lasting chew. The product is also labeled high in protein, low in fat, and with no added sugar. Its ingredient claims include corn-free, gluten-free, grain-free, and wheat-free, as well as no artificial colors or flavors.

Rawhide chewing can form part of a dog’s oral-care routine, and the product is intended to help clean teeth and support fresh breath. Taurine is included as a distinguishing ingredient, alongside the chew’s dental-care and mental-stimulation uses. These are treats for chewing, rather than small, quickly delivered rewards for repeated training cues.

Quick sizing guide

The bones measure 6.5 inches and are positioned for medium and large dogs. The product also lists an all-breed-size recommendation, while identifying medium and large as its dog-breed sizes. If offering one to a smaller dog, supervise the chew, as advised by the manufacturer. Choose the bone with your dog’s size and chewing session in mind.

Everyday use

Offer a bone when your dog needs a dedicated chewing activity, such as during a quiet period at home. The bone shape and rawhide center make it a different kind of treat from soft training morsels, while the chicken wrapping adds the flavor component. Its chewing format is intended to keep a dog occupied and provide mental stimulation.

Customer feedback commonly notes that dogs enjoy the taste. Reports on digestibility and chew time vary: some owners say their dogs finish a bone in under 25 minutes, while others describe much longer chewing sessions. Individual dogs may approach the same treat differently, so supervise and keep an eye on how your dog chews.

Is it worth it?

Pawmate’s four-count pack suits shoppers looking for chicken-wrapped rawhide in a larger chew format, with taurine and dental-care use among its distinguishing details. It makes sense as a planned chew for a medium or large dog when you want to offer more than a quick reward. The 6.5-inch size, chicken-and-rawhide combination, and chewing-focused purpose give this treat a clear role in everyday routines.
