P7yaumy 1600BNE Double-Sided PE Foam Mounting Tape, 1 in x 16.5 ft

The PE foam backing and double-sided adhesive make this mounting tape useful for attaching decor and household items without drilling. Its 1-inch width provides a strip format for mounting posters, photos, frames, and other items on smooth, clean surfaces.

The white tape is 16.5 feet long and designed for indoor or outdoor use. It is also described as waterproof, making it a practical choice for projects where the mounting surface may encounter moisture.

Key features

This tape combines a PE foam layer with adhesive on both sides, creating a simple alternative to screws or other mechanical fasteners for suitable mounting jobs. Use it for posters, photos, frames, wall stickers, hooks, shelves, phone holders, carpets, and craft projects. The strip can also help secure items such as decorations, flowerpots, LED products, and power sockets, depending on the surface and application.

The listed compatible surfaces include glass, plastic, metal, marble, ceramic, and painted walls. The key is a smooth, clean surface: preparing it before application helps the adhesive make contact across the tape. Its white color and low-profile format are useful when you want a less visible attachment than a bracket or exposed fastener.

How to use it

Start with a smooth, clean, dry surface. Apply the tape where the item will sit, then position the item against it. This approach suits small home and office projects, such as putting up a poster or securing a carpet edge, when drilling would be unnecessary for the task. The tape is also suitable for art, craft, and DIY work where an adhesive strip is easier to place than a screw or liquid adhesive.

For removal, the product directions recommend warming the tape with a hair dryer. The adhesive is described as removable without residue, so warming it provides a practical way to release the bond when rearranging decor or changing a project. Take care while handling the warmed area and follow the hair dryer’s directions.

Usage tips

Match the strip to the shape of the item and the surface area available for contact. Clean and dry the mounting surface first, and choose one of the listed smooth materials for the intended application. For a poster or photo, place the tape behind the item so the attachment stays out of view. For a carpet or rug, position it where you want the material held in place.

Compared with drilled fasteners, this adhesive format is a straightforward choice for projects where you want to avoid drilling, grinding, or screw installation. It also gives you a continuous strip to cut or position for different household and craft tasks, rather than a fixed mounting bracket. Worth considering if you regularly switch between hanging decor, organizing small items, and completing DIY projects with one roll of tape.

Buying verdict

P7yaumy 1600BNE is a versatile pick for home, office, and craft use when double-sided PE foam tape fits the surface and task. Its 1-inch-wide, 16.5-foot format covers a range of mounting jobs, while the removable adhesive and hair-dryer removal method support projects that may need to be repositioned or taken down. Choose it for posters, decor, carpet applications, and other smooth-surface attachments where an adhesive strip offers a convenient alternative to drilling.
