Optish SPRING-1P Heavy-Duty Door Stopper, Adjustable Spring, 2-Pack
Product description
Choosing a doorstop for a larger floor gap calls for a different fit than simply keeping a lightweight door ajar. The Optish SPRING-1P uses a spring-loaded design that adjusts to the space between the door and floor, with rubber contact points to help hold the door in place.
Each set includes two stoppers, giving you a pair for doors around the home, shop, or workplace.
Quick sizing guide
Each stopper measures 5.1 inches long, 1.8 inches wide, and 3 inches thick. The adjustable spring is designed for door clearances from 0.8 to 3 inches, so matching that range to the gap beneath your door is the key sizing step. Its under-door mounting places the stopper between the door and floor rather than attaching hardware to the door or wall.
For a practical check, measure the floor-to-door gap where you want to hold the door open. The spring-loaded height adjustment is useful when that space calls for more than a low, fixed-profile wedge. The two-piece pack also lets you place a stopper where it is needed on another door.
What stands out
A built-in spring lets the stopper compress as you position it beneath the door, then expand to create a snug hold. To use it, press the raised side to compress the spring, slide the stopper under the door, and release it. Press again to compress and remove it. This step-operated design makes opening and releasing the door straightforward without manual height adjustment.
Rubber pads on the top and bottom create contact with both the door and floor. Paired with the stainless-steel core, they provide a sturdy, grippy construction for everyday door-holding tasks. The maker describes the materials as waterproof and rustproof, making the design suitable for settings where moisture and frequent use are considerations. It is intended for use on surfaces including wood, concrete, carpet, marble, and tile, on smooth flooring, clearing dust from the contact area supports grip.
Buyers often highlight its hold, durability, adjustability, and ease of use, including use with heavy fire-grade and shop doors. Feedback about fit across different door sizes is mixed, which makes checking the clearance against the stated adjustment range a practical part of choosing this model.

When it makes sense
This two-pack is a practical fit when you want a reusable way to hold doors open and the gap calls for an adjustable, spring-loaded stopper. It can suit home and commercial settings, including use with heavy, metal, double, security, glass, and balcony doors. Unlike a simple fixed-height wedge, its spring adapts to the door gap within the stated range, while the rubber pads provide contact at both the floor and door.
It suits you if you want step-operated placement and release, a pair of stoppers, and a design made for a range of floor surfaces. For a shop door that needs to stay open during routine movement through the space, or a household door used throughout the day, the adjustable spring and under-door placement offer a direct, easy-to-use solution.
