OLIXIS Dining Chairs in Boucle Fabric

These OLIXIS dining chairs suit shoppers who want upholstered seating with a softer look than a basic all-metal or hard-seat chair. The ivory boucle cover and curved back bring texture and shape to a dining area, kitchen, or living room.

They come as a set of two, with black metal legs and a cushioned seat. That makes them a practical match for a small dining setup or for adding a pair of seats where a room needs them.

The details point to comfort for everyday meals, not just occasional use. Still, the product information doesn’t give chair dimensions, so the fit around your table is something to confirm before choosing.

How to use it

Use the pair as dining chairs for casual dinners, or place them at a kitchen or living room table when you want upholstered seating. Picture pulling one up for breakfast, then leaving it in place rather than storing a folding chair away after the meal. The curved, round backrest gives the design a more finished look than a simple stool, while the ivory upholstery can help soften a room with darker furniture or flooring.

Each chair has a 3.94-inch cushion filled with high-density resilient foam. The description says the foam is intended to retain its shape with frequent use, and the backrest is designed to follow the natural curve of the spine. Those features may appeal if you spend more time sitting through a meal than a quick snack. Will the seat suit everyone at your table? The available information doesn’t specify seat dimensions, so the cushion thickness alone can’t answer that.

Pros

• Boucle fabric adds a tactile, textured finish, while ivory and black legs give the chairs a clear contrast.
• A thick foam cushion and curved backrest offer more padding and back support than a basic hard-seat chair.
• The metal frame is listed to support up to 275 lbs, and swivel foot pads are intended to help with stability on uneven floors.
• Assembly instructions are included, with customer support available for questions.

The trade-off is that there’s no care guidance or fabric performance information in the supplied details. If spills, pets, or frequent messes are part of your routine, the textured upholstery may take more consideration than a smooth, easy-wipe seat. The listing also doesn’t provide overall dimensions, which makes it harder to judge table clearance or how much floor space the chairs will occupy.

Spec sheet

• Type: Dining chairs, set of 2
• Material: Boucle fabric upholstery and metal frame
• Color: Ivory with black metal legs
• Cushion: 3.94 inches thick, with high-density resilient foam
• Weight capacity: Up to 275 lbs
• Backrest: Round, curved design
• Feet: Swivel foot pads

These details on the spec sheet cover the main comfort and construction points, but not the measurements needed to check a precise fit. Worth considering if you’re replacing plain dining seats with a cushioned pair and can confirm the chairs work with your table. Better avoided if you need exact dimensions upfront or prefer a smooth surface with stated care instructions.

When it makes sense

Choose this set when the visual appeal of ivory boucle and a padded seat matters as much as having functional dining seating. Compared with a simpler, unupholstered chair, this pair offers a softer surface and a more rounded silhouette, a more demanding buyer may instead want a chair with published dimensions and specific upholstery-care details. The stated weight capacity and foot pads provide useful buying context, but they don’t replace checking clearance and proportions for your own space. If those details match your setup, the set’s strongest case is a coordinated pair for everyday dining, if fit or fabric upkeep is a priority, the missing information is a real reason to keep looking.
