OLIXIS Dining Chairs

If you want dining seats with a softer, more supportive feel, these upholstered chairs bring a thick cushion and curved backrest to the table. If your priority is a simple, minimal seat, that extra padding and textured fabric may be more than you need. The ivory bouclé and black metal legs give the set a defined look, while the listed features also point to everyday use beyond the dining area, such as at a kitchen table or vanity.

Technical details

The set includes four chairs upholstered in ivory bouclé fabric, described as soft and breathable. Each has a 3.94-inch cushion filled with high-density resilient foam, plus a round, curved backrest intended to follow the natural curve of the spine. That combination should feel more substantial than a basic hard-seat dining chair, especially during a meal that runs long. The listing says the cushion is designed to retain its shape with frequent use, though it does not provide a durability test or a separate foam-density figure.

The frame is metal with reinforced inner walls, and the listed support limit is 275 lbs. Swivel foot pads are intended to improve stability and help reduce wobbling on uneven flooring. The description does not give chair dimensions, so room planning is less precise without that measurement. Check the available space at your table before choosing a set, particularly if the chairs need to tuck fully underneath it.

Getting the most from it

These are dining chairs, not a claim of universal fit for every table or room. Their ivory upholstery and black legs can work as a coordinated set around a dining table, or as extra seating in a kitchen or living room. For a practical test of the layout, picture pulling one chair out while someone is seated nearby, the product details do not specify the overall width or clearance needed, so leave room for that movement.

It makes sense if you want padded seating with a more inviting texture than a plain, hard chair. The contoured back and thick cushion favor comfort during casual dinners or gatherings, while the metal frame and foot pads address stability. Not the best choice if you need exact dimensions before planning a tight fit, or if you prefer low-maintenance hard surfaces over fabric upholstery. Compared with a simpler chair, this set puts more emphasis on cushioning and appearance, a more specialized ergonomic seat may be a better fit for extended desk work, which is not the use described here.

Usage tips

Use the chairs at a dining table, kitchen table, or vanity, and allow enough space to pull them in and out comfortably. Follow the included assembly guide when putting them together, then check that each chair sits evenly before regular use. If a floor is uneven, the swivel foot pads are designed to help steady the chair, but they are not a substitute for checking that the assembled frame is secure. Bouclé has a textured surface, so consider how fabric seating fits your household’s cleaning preferences, cleaning instructions are not provided in the listing.

Before you decide

What material covers the chairs? The listing describes ivory bouclé fabric with a soft, breathable feel.

How thick is the seat cushion? It is listed as 3.94 inches thick and filled with high-density resilient foam.

What is the stated weight limit? The product description lists a support limit of 275 lbs. It does not give a separate figure for a different use or setup.

Should you buy it?

Choose this four-chair set if you want a coordinated dining area with upholstered seats, a curved backrest, and a more cushioned feel than basic hard-seat chairs. Its metal frame, stated support limit, and swivel foot pads add practical details, but the missing dimensions matter if your table area is tight. If precise fit is essential, a chair listing with full measurements will make the decision easier, if comfort and the ivory bouclé look are your main priorities, this set has a clear purpose.
