Obabala YM-QWABS001-60-002-3 60-Inch Ceiling Fan, Walnut, Remote, 6 Speeds

The 60-inch Obabala ceiling fan brings adjustable airflow to indoor rooms and outdoor living areas. Its walnut finish adds a warm wood look overhead. A reversible DC motor and six speed settings let you tailor circulation to the season and the room.

Quick overview

This fan is designed for spaces where air circulation is the priority and a built-in light is not needed. Use the remote to select from six speeds and adjust airflow without reaching for a wall switch. The reversible motor supports seasonal use: set the rotation to circulate a cooling breeze in warm weather or help move warm air during colder months. A timer offers 1-, 2-, and 4-hour settings, useful when you want the fan to run for a set period as you settle in for the evening.

At 43 watts, with a listed airflow capacity of 5,500 CFM, the fan is suited to everyday circulation in places such as a living room, bedroom, dining room, or patio. Its three-blade design keeps the look simple, while remote operation makes speed changes convenient during meals, relaxing, or time outdoors. The stated noise level is 35 dB, a useful consideration for rooms where a quieter operating sound matters.

Fit and sizing

The 60-inch size gives this fan a broad overhead presence for room-scale air movement. Its listed dimensions are 60 inches deep by 12 inches wide by 60 inches high, and the included 24-inch downrod provides the hanging component for installation. It is intended for ceiling mounting and indoor or outdoor use. The installation design supports flat ceilings and sloped ceilings up to 18°, so it can suit more than one ceiling layout.

Choose this format when you want a dedicated ceiling fan with a remote and several airflow settings rather than a basic fan with only fixed operation. The walnut finish also gives the ceiling a natural wood accent, making it a practical match for rooms and patios where the fan is part of the overall look.

Tips for day-to-day use

Use the remote to set a gentler speed for resting or a higher setting when the room needs more air movement. Reversing the motor lets you adapt the direction of circulation to seasonal comfort. The timer settings can help coordinate operation with a routine, such as winding down in the bedroom or enjoying a meal on the patio.

For installation, mount the fan to the ceiling using the included components and follow the supplied instructions. Check that the ceiling angle falls within the supported range before fitting it on a slope. Buyers often highlight the airflow, remote control, and quiet operation, with some also appreciating how the fan fits into outdoor décor, those impressions reflect individual experiences rather than a promise of a particular result.

Buying verdict

The Obabala YM-QWABS001-60-002-3 is a strong fit for shoppers who want a 60-inch fan with remote-controlled speed choices, reversible circulation, and a walnut finish for indoor or outdoor spaces. It puts airflow customization and seasonal use ahead of built-in lighting. If your priority is a single fixture that also illuminates the room, a fan with an integrated light serves a different purpose, for a dedicated fan that can be adjusted from your seat, this model offers a clear, practical setup.
