NOONCRAZY Air-001 Airplane Foot Hammock with Adjustable Strap and Bamboo Base

Some travelers want a compact way to rest their feet during a long flight, others need an accessory they can also use at a desk or on a bus. This sling is designed for those situations, with an adjustable strap and a portable storage bag.

Its 1 cm bamboo base and foam padding give the footrest its structure, while the strap lets you set its hanging height. The stated fit guidance is for travelers under 5 feet 7 inches tall.

The main tradeoff is that comfort depends on the seat setup and how securely the strap stays in place. Airline rules can also vary, so check with your carrier before packing it for use on board.

Key points

The NOONCRAZY Air-001 is a foot hammock made with synthetic fiber fabric, a high-density nylon strap, a bamboo base, and thickened foam. The strap adjusts from 19.68 to 36.22 inches, giving you room to change the position rather than relying on a fixed hanging length. The product is listed with a 200-pound support capacity, and a quick-release buckle is intended to make attaching and removing it straightforward.

For travel, the included storage bag helps keep the sling together in carry-on luggage. Its intended use is to provide a place to rest your feet while seated, which may be useful when you want more support than simply leaving them hanging. Buyers often describe it as helpful for long flights and appreciate the included bag. Feedback on stability is mixed, though: some say it stays put, while others report that the strap slips during use. That difference is worth considering if you expect it to hold one position throughout a trip.

Who it’s for

It’s a great fit if you want a portable footrest for a long flight and fall within the product’s stated height guidance. The listing also describes use at an office desk or on a long-distance bus, so it may suit someone looking for one sling for more than air travel. If you are comparing it with a simple, non-adjustable foot support, the adjustable strap offers more flexibility in setting the height.

It may not suit you if you need a fit recommendation for someone taller than the stated guidance, or if your airline does not allow this type of accessory. The product description advises checking with the airline before use. Buyer feedback also suggests that strap stability may vary in practice, rather than being a benefit to assume in every seat setup.

How to use it

Attach the sling to the tray table in front of your seat, then adjust the strap to the height that feels suitable and secure it with the quick-release buckle. Place your feet on the padded base while seated. For a flight, check the airline’s rules before departure and follow any crew instructions about when accessories can be attached or used. The strap’s stated adjustment range can help accommodate different setups, but the available seat position and your own leg length will affect where the sling hangs.

When it is not in use, remove it and put it in the included storage bag. This keeps the footrest compact for packing and makes it easier to carry alongside other travel essentials.

When it makes sense

Choose the Air-001 if a lightweight, packable foot sling with an adjustable strap is more useful to you than a fixed footrest, and you want a way to rest your feet during seated travel. The bamboo base, foam padding, and carry bag distinguish it from a basic fabric sling, while the reported slipping means it is sensible to treat a stable fit as dependent on the seat and setup. For travelers who meet the stated height guidance and have airline permission, it offers a practical accessory to consider for long trips.
