Mubarek night light Cat Night Light for Kids, 16 Colors, Rechargeable Silicone

A simple bedside light prioritizes basic illumination, while this Mubarek cat night light adds color changes and a soft silicone body for a more playful bedtime setup. It can sit on a tabletop in a child’s room and also work as cat-themed decor during the day.

Touch controls, two brightness levels, and cordless rechargeable operation give it more flexibility than a fixed-color lamp.

Practical tips

Set it on a stable tabletop surface and use the touch control to switch it on, adjust brightness, or change colors. The lamp offers 16 colors and two brightness settings, listed as 50% and 100%. That gives you a dimmer setting for a softer glow and a brighter one for brief nighttime tasks. The silicone body is described as soft and squishy, so the design may appeal to children who like a tactile bedside companion.

It is rechargeable by USB and has a listed 1,200mAh battery, the product description claims up to 10 hours of cordless use. Since charging and runtime experiences vary in buyer feedback, think of that figure as a stated specification rather than a guarantee for every use pattern. The lamp is intended for indoor tabletop use and is not water-resistant, so keep it away from wet areas.

Why it’s worth it

This lamp combines a familiar cat shape with adjustable light rather than offering illumination alone. Compared with a basic, fixed-color night light, the changing colors and touch-based brightness controls give children more ways to interact with it. The compact listed dimensions—6"D x 3"W x 4"H—also make it suited to a bedside table or nursery surface where a larger decorative lamp may take up too much room.

Is the extra interaction worth choosing over a simpler light? That depends on whether color and a soft character design are part of the appeal. Buyers often describe the lamp as cute and appreciate its brightness options and squishy silicone feel. Feedback is less consistent on color changing, battery performance, and reliability, some report unexpected color behavior or units that stop working. Worth considering if the cat design and adjustable glow matter as much as basic nighttime lighting.

What to know

The product is listed as white, with a cat shape, LED light source, touch control, and a tabletop mounting style. Its appeal is mainly in the combination of decor and adjustable light, not in features for outdoor or wet-room use. Buyer comments also raise durability concerns, including reports of units failing after a short period. Those reports are not a prediction of how any one lamp will perform, but they are relevant if you are choosing a light for frequent daily use. You may want to skip it if water resistance is essential or if you prefer a night light with no color-changing controls.

Before you decide

How do you change the light setting? The product description says to tap the lamp to turn it on or off, select color-changing mode, and adjust between two brightness levels.

Does it need to stay plugged in? It is described as USB rechargeable and cordless during use. The stated battery capacity is 1,200mAh, and the listing claims 10 hours of operation, buyer reports on battery life are mixed.

Can it be used in a bathroom or outdoors? It is intended for indoor use and is listed as not water-resistant, so it is not suited to damp or outdoor settings.

Final verdict

Choose this Mubarek lamp if a child’s room would benefit from a small cat-shaped light with touch controls, color options, and a soft silicone exterior. Its practical advantage over a basic single-color night light is the adjustable, interactive setup. The main reasons to pause are mixed reports about reliability and color behavior, plus the lack of water resistance. If you prioritize a straightforward bedside glow and the cat design is a bonus, its features may be more than you need.
