iLacven MT-60 Magnetic Building Blocks, 60-Piece Travel Set with Tin
Product description
The magnetic cubes connect for hands-on building, while the included metal tin makes it easy to bring the set along. It’s a compact way to keep creative play within reach on a road trip, at a restaurant, or during a wait.
With 60 multicolor cubes, kids can stack, take apart, and rebuild their own designs. The open-ended format encourages construction, sorting, color recognition, and imaginative play.
The cubes are 0.8 inches, and the set is recommended for ages 3 and up. A gift tin and instruction manual come with the blocks, so the pieces have a dedicated place between builds.
Where it shines
This set is made for play that can move from home to the car and back. The tin keeps the cubes together in a backpack or travel bag, and the compact format suits short stretches of play during road trips, flights, or appointments. At home, children can build on a tabletop or use magnetic surfaces such as a refrigerator or garage door for another way to arrange the cubes.
Unlike a larger building set intended to stay in one play area, the MT-60 puts portability at the center. The 60 cubes offer room to make and remake designs, while the tin helps keep the pieces organized when it’s time to pack up. Buyers often praise the set’s creativity and travel-friendly format, feedback on the cube size is mixed, so the stated 0.8-inch size is useful context when choosing a set.
Highlights
The cubes are made from ABS and metal, with magnetic, stackable construction for building, sorting, and rebuilding. Their 0.8-inch size is compatible with other 0.8-inch magnetic cube sets, allowing children to combine sets for larger creations. The multicolor pieces support color recognition, while hands-on construction can encourage creative thinking, imagination, and construction skills.
The set includes 60 magnetic blocks, a gift tin, and an instruction manual. Children can explore their own ideas or use the booklet for inspiration, making the set suitable for both free play and guided building. Its portable format also makes it a practical birthday or holiday gift for kids who enjoy making things with their hands.
Practical tips
Use the cubes on a flat tabletop for stacking and arranging, or on an iron surface such as a refrigerator door for magnetic play. Afterward, place the pieces back in the tin to keep the travel set together for the next outing. The recommended age is 3 years and up.
