Lormandy Water Filter Straw, 4-Pack Personal Water Filter, 0.1-Micron UF
Product description
The hollow-fiber UF membrane filters water through 0.1-micron pores, giving this portable straw a practical role in hiking, camping, fishing, and emergency kits. Drink directly from a water source or place the straw in a water bottle to filter as you sip.
Each pack includes four filters, four syringes, and four silicone tubes, so you can keep a set in different outdoor or preparedness kits.
What matters most
This is a personal water filter designed for individual use, not a large group filtration setup. Its compact 8-inch length and 1.2-inch width and height make it easy to pack alongside hiking or camping essentials. The ABS body is described as BPA-free and food-grade, and each straw is individually packaged.
The filter has a stated flow rate of about 800 ml/min and a total capacity of 1,300 gallons. Actual capacity depends on use frequency, water quality, and maintenance. That combination of a compact format and substantial stated capacity makes it useful to keep in a backpack, fishing kit, car, or emergency supplies. For a day outdoors, for example, you can drink directly from a stream or lake, or fill a water bottle and use the straw while drinking.
Cleaning & care
After multiple uses, backflush the straw with a syringe to help clear it and prevent clogging. Regular care matters because the product’s stated filtration capacity depends in part on maintenance practices. The included syringes provide a way to perform this backflush, whether you are refreshing the filter after a trip or preparing it for storage in your kit.
Usage tips
Use the filter by placing it close to a stream or lake and drinking through the straw, or fill a water bottle and insert the straw for drinking. It can also be used with a compatible water bag in a gravity-fed filtration setup. Choose the approach that fits the water source and your setup, and keep the filter accessible in a backpack or emergency bag for outdoor outings and preparedness needs.
The set is centered on personal filtration: it suits someone who wants a compact drinking-water tool to carry, rather than a group-sized system. Its included tubes and syringes also support setup and care alongside the four filters, making the pack practical for organizing multiple kits.
What to clarify
What comes in the four-piece pack? It includes four water filters, four syringes, and four silicone tubes. Each filter is individually packaged.
Can I drink straight from a water source? Yes. The straw is designed for drinking directly from a stream or lake, or you can fill a water bottle and insert the filter to sip.
Does the filter need a battery or electrical power? The listed power source is gravity, so the product is intended for manual, gravity-fed use rather than powered operation.
Final verdict
For hikers, campers, anglers, and people building emergency supplies, the Lormandy water filter straw offers a portable way to filter water for personal drinking. Its 0.1-micron hollow-fiber UF membrane, direct-source or bottle use, and four-filter set make it especially useful when you want individual filtration equipment ready to pack across outdoor and preparedness kits.
