Lormandy S2 orange Straw Water Filter 8-Pack with Hollow-Fiber UF Filtration

The hollow-fiber UF membrane gives each Lormandy S2 orange straw a compact way to filter water for outdoor and travel use. With eight personal filters in the pack, you can set them aside for different family members, backpacks, or emergency kits.

Each straw can be used directly at a water source or with a bottle or the included water pouch and silicone tube, making it adaptable to different situations on the trail or while traveling.

Pros

The eight-filter pack is designed for personal use across hiking, camping, backpacking, and emergency preparedness. Each straw measures 8 inches long by 1.2 inches wide and 1.2 inches high, with a portable format that fits naturally into a pack or travel kit. The body is made from BPA-free ABS, and the filtration method is a hollow-fiber UF membrane.

The set includes eight water filters, eight rope clips, one 1-meter silicone tube, and one water pouch. That combination supports several ways to access water: drink directly from a source, connect the tube, or use the pouch as part of a portable setup. Buyers often appreciate the compact size, portability, and straightforward use. Feedback on filtration effectiveness is mixed, so these impressions are useful context rather than a substitute for the product’s stated use and care instructions.

Key takeaways

This is a personal straw format rather than a single shared unit: the eight filters can be distributed among people or packed in separate locations. For a family heading out on a hike, for example, each person can carry an individual straw instead of relying on one filter being passed between users. The pack also suits travelers and people organizing an emergency kit who want a portable water-filter option on hand.

The straw can be placed directly in a freshwater source for drinking, or used with a bottle or the included pouch. The product instructions also describe a gravity-fed setup. Compared with carrying all drinking water from the start, this approach centers on filtering water where it is collected, shoppers looking for a larger, shared filtration setup may prefer a different format. The Lormandy set focuses on compact personal straws and multiple units in one pack.

Cleaning & care

After use, backflush the straw to clear accumulated particles and help maintain water flow. The instructions describe rinsing through the filter and blowing air through the inlet to help it dry. Allow it to dry thoroughly, replace its protective cover, and store it in a dry place. Regular cleaning is part of caring for a reusable filter, particularly after drawing from natural water sources.

For direct drinking, place the intake end in the water and drink through the top. For a pouch-based setup, fill the pouch, connect the filter, and drink from the assembly or transfer filtered water to a bottle. The instructions also describe attaching the straw to a compatible threaded bottle and allowing gravity to move water through the filter.

Should you buy it?

Choose this eight-pack if portable personal filters fit your plans for hiking, camping, travel, or emergency preparedness. Its practical appeal is the combination of multiple individual straws with a pouch and silicone tube, giving you several ways to organize and use the set. For family outings or kits kept in different bags, the Lormandy S2 orange makes a compact, easy-to-carry filtration option with clear care steps for continued use.
