Lormandy S2 orange Water Filter Straw 5-Pack with Hollow-Fiber UF

The hollow-fiber UF membrane and sediment prefilter help reduce visible particles and improve water odor, giving you a compact way to filter freshwater while traveling outdoors.

This Lormandy set includes five personal filter straws, so family members or camping companions can each carry their own. The portable format works for hiking, camping, travel, and emergency kits.

Use a straw directly at a water source, or connect it to a compatible bottle or the included water pouch and tubing. A syringe is included for rinsing the filter after use.

Everyday use

For a straightforward drink on the trail, place the filter’s intake in freshwater and sip through the mouthpiece. The straw can also connect to a water container, giving you another way to access filtered water when drinking directly from the source is inconvenient. For gravity use, attach the filter to a bottle with matching threads, the product instructions cite standard 28 mm water or soda bottle threads. A squeeze bottle can be pressed to help move water through the filter.

The five-straw format is useful when several people need their own drinking setup. It also lets you keep a straw in different places, such as a daypack and an emergency kit, rather than relying on one shared personal filter. Buyers often praise the compact, lightweight design, portability, and ease of use. Feedback on filtration effectiveness is mixed, so treat those comments as individual experiences rather than a performance guarantee.

Why it’s worth it

Instead of carrying bottled water for every part of an outing, this set offers a portable option for filtering freshwater as needed. The hollow-fiber UF membrane is described as 0.1 micron, and a sediment prefilter helps remove visible solid particles. The straw is also described as helping improve odor. These features make it practical for outdoor trips where you may want a compact personal filter, while the five-unit pack gives groups a separate straw for each person.

The included accessories support more than one setup: use the straw directly, connect the silicone tubing, or use the pouch for a water-container approach. This flexibility suits people who prefer individual drinking straws over a shared filter system. Customers also describe the product as handy for travel and emergency kits, though opinions about its value vary.

What to know

The filter is intended for potable drinking water and uses a hollow-fiber ultrafiltration membrane. For direct use, remove the intake cap and place the filter’s lower end in the water before drinking from the top. Follow the included product instructions for connecting a bottle or pouch. After use, rinse the filter with the included syringe to clear impurities from the membrane, then allow it to dry thoroughly before storage. This care routine helps keep the filter ready for later use.

The set includes five water filters, five syringes, five rope clips, one water pouch, and one meter of silicone tubing. It is made from acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, and the product information describes its components as BPA-free and made with food-grade materials. Use the filter with freshwater sources such as lakes, rivers, and streams, and follow the manufacturer’s care directions when cleaning and storing it.

Final verdict

For hikers, campers, and travelers who want a personal freshwater-filtering option, the Lormandy five-pack combines direct-sip use with bottle and pouch connections. Its individual straws make it especially practical for families or groups preparing separate kits, while the included rinsing syringes support routine filter care.
