The 8K DPI sensor tracks on many surfaces, including glass at least 4 mm thick. Adjustable sensitivity helps tailor pointer movement to the task, while the compact body takes up little room in a laptop bag or on a crowded desk. MagSpeed scrolling offers a controlled ratchet mode for precise movement and a faster mode for long pages and spreadsheets. Quiet Clicks reduce click noise compared with the MX Anywhere 3, making the mouse a practical fit for focused work around others.

Everyday use

Bluetooth pairing supports up to three devices, making it straightforward to move between a laptop and other compatible computers without changing your desk setup. The six buttons include left and right click, back and forward, a wheel mode-shift button, and a middle click. Logi Options+ lets you customize buttons, adjust tracking speed, and use app-specific settings on Windows and macOS. Basic functions are supported without the software on other operating systems.

For a typical workday, the compact design is easy to position beside a laptop, while the scroll wheel handles both detailed document navigation and longer pages. The rechargeable battery lasts up to 70 days per full charge under stated conditions, and a one-minute quick charge provides up to three hours of use. Actual battery life can vary with use and computing conditions.

Customer feedback often highlights the comfortable feel, quiet operation, and rechargeable battery. Opinions are more mixed on Bluetooth reliability, click responsiveness, and the feel of the scrolling, the MagSpeed wheel’s two modes give users distinct ways to navigate, depending on the task and preference.

What you get

The package includes the MX Anywhere 3S mouse, a USB-A-to-USB-C recharging cable, user documentation, and a limited one-year hardware warranty. Charging uses the USB-C port on the mouse. For wireless connection, pair it over Bluetooth with a compatible device, Logi Options+ customization is available for Windows and macOS.

Buying verdict

Worth considering if you want a compact mouse that can move between workspaces and devices while still offering customizable controls and a fast, versatile scroll wheel. Its 8K DPI tracking, quieter clicks, and rechargeable USB-C design make the MX Anywhere 3S especially suited to laptop-based work, shared desks, and daily navigation across documents and apps.
