Lisara BS-01 Baby Bassinet Mattress, Dual-Sided Foam, Waterproof Cover

For caregivers looking for a replacement mattress for a 33 x 22-inch bassinet, the Lisara BS-01 combines two foam surfaces with a removable cover. It is listed as compatible with Fodoss bassinets and other bassinets of that size. The cover is washable and waterproof. Measure your bassinet before choosing: the product details also list a 32 x 22-inch size.

What stands out

This mattress offers two different surfaces: a softer side with cooling gel memory foam and a firmer side with high-density support foam. That gives caregivers a choice between the listed feel of each side rather than a single-surface design. The mattress is described as 1.5 inches thick, and the cover has a zipper for removal. Its fabric is listed as 35% ice silk and 65% polyester, with a TPU waterproof membrane.

The product is presented as a mattress for a full bassinet, not just a washable liner. That distinction matters if you need a replacement sleep surface, a separate protector may make more sense if your existing mattress is the right size and you only need help managing spills. You’ll appreciate it if you want a removable cover and two stated firmness options in one bassinet mattress.

Buyer feedback often mentions a good fit and easy washing, although comments about thickness are mixed: some find it suitable, while others expected a thicker mattress. Opinions on value are also divided, so those points may matter when comparing it with a simpler single-surface replacement.

The essentials

The listed size is not fully consistent across the product information: the title and compatibility details say 33 x 22 inches, while a specification field says 32 x 22 inches. The manufacturer also describes it as designed for oval-shaped bassinets, while the product title calls it rectangular. Measure the space and check its shape against your bassinet before ordering, the listing itself advises measuring first. The name Fodoss is an example of compatibility, not a substitute for checking your particular bassinet’s dimensions.

For a practical setup, compare the mattress measurements with the bassinet’s intended mattress space before removing the existing surface. If the fit is uncertain, the conflicting listed dimensions are a reason to confirm the exact size rather than rely on the compatibility wording alone. Not the best choice if you need a size that is clearly specified without that discrepancy.

Cleaning & care

The cover is removable by zipper and is listed as machine washable. Care instructions recommend washing at around 30°C with mild detergent, do not bleach or iron. The waterproof cover is intended to help keep liquids and stains from reaching the mattress, while its breathable fabric is described as soft and smooth. Follow the stated care directions to avoid treating the cover as an item that can be ironed or bleached.

Before you decide

What size bassinet is this intended for? The main listing says 33 x 22 inches and names Fodoss and other bassinets of that size. A specification field says 32 x 22 inches, so compare the actual space and mattress measurements before buying.

What is different about the two sides? One side uses cooling gel memory foam and is described as softer, the other uses high-density support foam and is described as firmer.

Can the cover be washed? Yes. It has a zipper and is listed as machine washable. The care instructions specify around 30°C, mild detergent, and no bleach or ironing.

Final verdict

The Lisara BS-01 is worth considering when you need a complete bassinet mattress with a removable waterproof cover and two foam surfaces, and your bassinet measurements match. Its size discrepancy and the mixed buyer feedback on thickness are meaningful checks before choosing it. If the dimensions or shape do not line up, a replacement with a clearly confirmed fit is the more practical route.
