Laimiod LED Drawing Board, 16 Inches

If you want a creative activity without another screen, this light-up drawing board takes a different route from a basic paper-and-crayon setup. Its illuminated acrylic surface, color options, and tracing papers are geared toward drawing, handwriting practice, and doodling at home or on the go.

It also needs charging, so it suits planned creative time better than a toy that is always ready to use.

Key specifications

The board measures 16 inches and has seven LED colors, three lighting modes, and six brightness levels. Kids can change the look of their work, while adjustable brightness gives some control over how strongly the surface lights up. A built-in stand supports tabletop use, and a wall-hanging design offers another way to display or use it.

The rechargeable battery is listed for up to 20 hours per full charge, with Type-C charging and four battery-level indicators. That runtime is an estimate, not a guarantee for every brightness or lighting mode. The board has a durable acrylic drawing surface, the listing does not provide dimensions beyond the 16-inch size or a charging-time estimate.

Who it’s for

This is aimed at kids who enjoy making pictures, tracing, practicing letters, or inventing stories, and at adults looking for a screen-free activity to bring out after school or on a rainy afternoon. The tracing sheets can give a child a starting point, while the markers leave room to move on to free drawing. It may also work for parent-child art time or classroom activities, though the product details don’t specify an age range.

A solid pick if you want one activity that can shift between tracing and open-ended drawing. If a child mainly wants a traditional sketchbook or a toy that requires no charging, those simpler options may be a better fit.

Included in the package

The kit lists seven washable markers, eight tracing papers, a cleaning cloth, a spray bottle, a charging cable, a wall hook, and a hanging chain. Having the tracing materials and cleanup supplies together makes it easier to start an activity without gathering separate accessories. The listing doesn’t clarify how long the markers last, so frequent use may mean replacing them later.

Questions before you buy

How long does the battery last? The stated estimate is up to 20 hours on a full charge. Actual use can vary, and the board has four indicators to show battery level.

Can kids adjust the lighting? Yes. They can choose from seven colors and three modes, and adjust brightness across six levels.

What can kids use it for? The listed uses include drawing, tracing, handwriting practice, doodling, and storytelling. The washable markers and tracing papers support those activities, while the acrylic surface is the drawing area.

When it makes sense

Choose this board if the appeal is a reusable-feeling creative activity with light effects, tracing materials, and both tabletop and hanging setup options. It offers more visual variety than plain paper, but it still centers on drawing and writing rather than digital games or interactive lessons. You may want to skip it if you need a specific age recommendation, a stated charging time, or a drawing surface that works without power, those details aren’t provided on the spec sheet.
