Knightsacoustic 50-Pack Acoustic Foam Panels, 2-Inch, 12 x 12-Inch
Product description
The 2-inch polyurethane foam absorbs sound reflections to help reduce echo and unwanted background noise in a recording space. Each panel measures 12 x 12 inches, giving you a flexible way to arrange treatment across a wall or other surface. The 50-pack provides 7,200 square inches of coverage. Adhesive is not included, so choose a mounting method that suits your installation.
How to use it
Place the panels where reflected sound is a concern, such as in a recording booth, home studio, control room, or office. Their purpose is acoustic treatment: the foam absorbs sound and helps manage reverberation rather than blocking sound from passing through walls. That makes these panels useful for improving the sound environment inside a room, while sound-blocking materials serve a different purpose.
Plan your layout before mounting to distribute the panels across the areas you want to treat. They can be used on walls, doors, or ceilings, and the soft foam is flexible to handle during installation. Since adhesive is not included, select a suitable mounting solution separately. If the foam has been compressed, the product information recommends allowing 3–5 hours for it to recover its shape with proper dispersal and ventilation.

Where it shines
For a spoken-word recording setup, these panels can help tame reflections that make a room sound echoey. They also suit studios, theaters, offices, and game rooms where managing reverberation is part of creating a more focused listening or recording environment. The individual panels let you arrange treatment around your space instead of relying on one large panel, while the 50-piece quantity supports a broader layout.
Buyers praise the panels’ appearance and report that they can help with echo and noise in some setups. Feedback on sound reduction is mixed, so it’s useful to approach them as room-acoustics treatment rather than a way to soundproof a space. Buyers also report varied experiences with odor and how well compressed pieces regain their shape.
