Mollywell Black Oak Hexagon Acoustic Panels, Self-Adhesive, 12 Pack
Product description
A recording nook, gaming room, or home office can benefit from wall panels designed to absorb sound while adding a finished look. Mollywell’s Black Oak hexagon panels pair a wood-grain surface with an NRC rating of 0.95 for spaces where managing echoes and reverberation matters.
Each panel measures 14 x 12 inches, and the pack contains 12 panels. Their self-adhesive backing makes them a practical choice for a DIY wall treatment without a separate installation tool kit.
The black oak finish brings a consistent visual element to a studio setup or entertainment space. Arrange the hexagons in a pattern that suits the wall and room layout.
What matters most
These panels are made with a polyester core and a PVC wood-grain surface. The listed NRC of 0.95 makes sound absorption a central feature, while the hexagon shape lets you create a more deliberate wall arrangement than a plain, uninterrupted panel layout. They are intended for sound insulation and are promoted for reducing echo and reverberation in rooms where clear sound is useful.
The sound-treatment function and the black oak appearance work together: rather than choosing wall covering for looks alone, you can add a decorative feature designed for acoustic use. The PVC surface is described as scratch-resistant and water-repellent, and can be wiped with a damp cloth for routine cleaning. That straightforward care is useful in regularly used spaces such as a gaming room, office, or home theater.
Size & fit
Each hexagon measures 14 x 12 inches and is 0.4 inches thick. The 12-panel set gives you multiple pieces to arrange across a wall, whether you prefer a compact grouping or a more spread-out pattern. Plan the layout around the area you want to treat and the shape of the wall, the hexagon format supports a customized arrangement rather than a single fixed configuration.
Who it’s for
Mollywell’s panels are suited to home recording areas, gaming rooms, home theaters, bedrooms, and offices where sound reflections are part of the room experience. They can also add a coordinated visual feature to conference rooms or other shared spaces. For calls, gaming, or listening, the sound-absorbing design is relevant when the aim is to manage room echo, while the black oak grain helps the panels blend into a darker or wood-accented interior.
The self-adhesive design supports a straightforward DIY installation. This makes the set appealing to people who want to arrange acoustic panels themselves, rather than use a decorative wall treatment with no stated sound-absorption purpose.
