Mdavo screen door 39"x82" Magnetic Polyester Mesh Screen, Black

For a doorway where you want airflow without leaving an open path for insects, the Mdavo magnetic screen door is designed to cover openings up to 39 x 82 inches. Its polyester mesh hangs across the doorway, and magnets along the center seam are intended to close the opening after someone walks through. The listed mesh size is 41 x 84 inches, and the maximum door size excludes the frame, so measuring the opening is important before choosing this version.

The screen is removable and foldable, making it a practical option for seasonal use rather than a permanent door replacement.

The center seam uses magnetic pieces to let people pass through without operating a separate latch. The mesh is meant to allow air to circulate while helping keep insects outside. This makes it useful for a front, bedroom, kitchen, balcony, or sliding-door opening, provided the opening falls within the stated size limit. The product is attached with self-adhesive hook tape, with no screws, nails, or tools specified for installation. It can be removed, folded, and stored when it is no longer needed.

Who it’s for

This screen is aimed at households that want a hands-free way through a doorway while keeping the opening screened. It may suit a frequently used entrance where people or pets pass through, rather than a setup that requires a rigid, lockable door. You’ll appreciate it if you want a removable mesh barrier that can be put away between seasons.

Buyer feedback commonly highlights straightforward installation and the screen’s usefulness for keeping bugs out. Reports about durability and closure are mixed, however: some buyers say the mesh holds up and the magnets meet properly, while others describe tearing or a seam that does not remain closed. Those differing experiences matter if the doorway sees heavy daily traffic or the screen will be handled roughly.

Included in the package

The listed included component is one screen door. The installation method described uses self-adhesive hook tape on the door frame and screen, the product details do not provide a separate inventory of package hardware. The instructions call for attaching the tape to the frame and then to the screen, so this is a surface-mounted option rather than one that requires drilling. It can also be removed and stored, which may suit renters or anyone who wants a seasonal screen instead of a more permanent installation.

When it makes sense

Choose this Mdavo screen when the opening measures no more than 39 x 82 inches, excluding the frame, and you want mesh coverage that still allows air to pass. It offers a simpler, removable approach than installing a fixed screen door, but it does not replace the structure of a rigid door. Not the best choice if the opening exceeds the stated fit or you need a firm, lockable barrier. The main buying decision is therefore the fit and the type of closure you need: measure the doorway first, then consider whether a magnetic mesh seam suits the amount of traffic it will receive.
