Ketaiyou D9966 Power Swivel Rocking Recliner with USB and Type-C Ports

For a reading corner or a nursery, the Ketaiyou D9966 combines powered reclining with rocking and swiveling motion, so one chair can serve for quiet downtime without requiring a separate glider. Built-in USB and Type-C ports add a place to connect a device while seated, and a side pocket keeps small reading or relaxation essentials close by.

The chair has a high back, upholstered fabric, and an adjustable footrest. Its maximum recommended weight is 350 pounds, a concrete limit to consider when choosing seating for your home.

Tips for day-to-day use

The controls adjust the backrest electrically, with infinite reclining positions rather than a fixed set of angles. That lets you settle into a position for reading, watching a movie, or relaxing. The chair also swivels 270 degrees and rocks, offering motion beyond what a standard stationary recliner provides. Its dimensions are 29.7"D x 27.9"W x 41.3"H, so use those measurements to check the intended spot before assembly. It weighs 90 pounds and is described for indoor use.

The USB and Type-C ports are useful when you want to connect a mobile device from the chair, the product details do not specify charging speed. The upholstery is described as velvet linen, with a wood-and-metal frame and foam seat material. Care instructions say to wipe clean. Assembly instructions are included, and the package lists the recliner and user manual.

Pros

The main appeal is having powered reclining, rocking, and swivel movement in one chair, rather than choosing a simpler manual recliner or a glider without powered adjustment. The high back, footrest, and side pocket add practical details for longer seated periods. Buyers commonly praise the comfort, appearance, ease of assembly, and smooth rocking and reclining action. Feedback on the fabric is mixed, however: some buyers like its feel, while others raise concerns about the cushioning. Those impressions are worth weighing alongside the listed foam and spring-bag filling rather than treating comfort as guaranteed.

You’ll appreciate it if you want an indoor chair with multiple kinds of movement and built-in charging ports, especially for reading or relaxing. It’s not for you if the recommended weight limit of 350 pounds does not suit your needs.

Highlights

The D9966 is listed for bedrooms, living rooms, nurseries, and offices, and its solid pattern and mid-century modern styling give it a defined look without a busy print. A practical use case is settling into a book with the footrest raised, keeping a phone nearby in the side pocket, and using the chair’s rocking motion while seated. For a more basic setup, a manual chair may have fewer powered features, this model’s controls and ports are the differentiators, though the provided details do not state the required power connection or charging performance.

What to clarify

Does the chair offer more than one reclining angle? Its reclining position count is listed as infinite, with an electrically adjustable backrest.

What is included? The listed components are the recliner and a user manual, assembly instructions are included.

How should the upholstery be cleaned? The care instructions specify wiping clean. No additional cleaning method is provided.

Final verdict

The Ketaiyou D9966 is worth considering if you want a powered recliner that also rocks and swivels, with USB and Type-C ports for everyday device use. Its measurements, 90-pound weight, and 350-pound recommended maximum are useful checks before buying. Choose it over a basic stationary seat when the added motion and powered adjustment matter, if you mainly need simple seating, those features may not be necessary.
