KastKing BlowBak Fishing Sling Bag with Rod Holder, MOLLE System and Water-Resistant Material
Product description
With a 15-liter capacity, the KastKing BlowBak Fishing Sling Bag gives anglers room to organize tackle and carry fishing essentials in a compact sling-style pack. Its water-repellent coating adds a layer of protection when you’re outdoors.
If your outing calls for a hands-free carry to a remote fishing spot, the rod holder and gear pockets keep key items close. For a more stationary setup, a larger tackle bag may suit gear you don’t need to carry on the trail.
The padded back panel and adjustable shoulder strap support a mobile setup for hiking, canoeing, kayaking, or SUP trips. A quick-release buckle makes it easier to take the bag off when you reach your spot.
Usage tips
Use the open-bottom neoprene side pocket to carry a rod or fishing combo while hiking to the water. The built-in plier holder keeps pliers accessible for hook removal, while the side beverage pocket holds a drink within reach. Adjust the strap length and choose the lower mounting point on the left or right side to suit your preferred carry.
For tackle organization, place up to two 3600-size tackle trays in the main compartment. The front pockets and internal slip pocket can separate smaller items such as lures, line, terminal tackle, keys, lunch, or rain gear. The MOLLE hold-down system lets you customize how you arrange compatible gear, and the front pocket provides a spot for patches.

What you’ll notice day to day
The layout is designed to keep frequently used fishing tools separate from the main load, so you can reach for pliers, a drink, or smaller tackle without unpacking everything. The side rod or combo pocket leaves your hands freer on the walk to a fishing location, while the padded back panel and shoulder strap are suited to carrying gear between spots. The main compartment also has an internal slip pocket for separating items such as lunch or rain gear from tackle trays.
Customer feedback highlights the storage space and portability, including the option to carry it as a backpack or over one shoulder. Opinions on size are mixed: some find it a good fit for their gear, while others consider it smaller than expected. Feedback on durability is also mixed, with some praising the material and others reporting strap or zipper problems. These perspectives may help you decide whether the sling format and organized carry match the way you plan to fish.
When it makes sense
The BlowBak is a practical match for anglers who want a dedicated bag for a few hours of fishing and prefer to carry tackle, tools, and a rod or combo together. Its pockets, tray capacity, beverage holder, and adjustable sling setup suit moving between fishing spots on foot or by canoe, kayak, or SUP. Choose it for an organized, hands-free carry when mobility matters more than bringing a larger stationary tackle setup.
