KastKing BlowBak Fishing Sling Bag, 22L with Rod Holder and MOLLE System

Carry tackle to a remote fishing spot on foot, by kayak, or on a canoe trip with the KastKing BlowBak sling bag. Its shoulder-sling design keeps fishing essentials close while leaving your hands free to move.

For a quick outing, the organized pockets make it easy to separate small tackle and tools. For a more mobile setup, the side holder gives a rod and reel a dedicated place as you travel.

The BlowBak combines those needs in one compact carry style, with a main compartment for tackle trays and a MOLLE system for customizing how you arrange gear.

On-body feel

A padded back panel and shoulder strap help make the bag comfortable to carry on walks to the water. Adjust the strap length and choose the lower mounting point on the left or right to suit your preferred carry position. When you reach your spot, the quick-release buckle makes it easy to take the bag off.

Its sling format is useful when you want tackle and tools close at hand without carrying a traditional backpack. A water-resistant finish on the 600D Oxford fabric adds practical protection for gear during outdoor use, while the lightweight construction supports a mobile fishing setup.

Pros

The BlowBak is designed around the things anglers need to access while moving. Its main compartment holds up to two 3600-size tackle trays, with an internal slip pocket for items such as lunch, rain gear, or additional lures. Front slip and organizer pockets provide places for line, terminal tackle, keys, and other smaller essentials, and a key clip helps keep keys together.

A built-in plier holder keeps pliers within quick reach when it is time to remove a hook. The side beverage pocket provides a handy place for a drink, while the open-bottom neoprene side pocket is designed to hold a rod or fishing combo on the way to the water. The MOLLE hold-down system lets you tailor the bag’s exterior organization, and the front panel provides a spot for patches.

Buyers often appreciate the storage layout, portability, and usefulness for activities such as kayak fishing and short trips. Feedback on size is mixed: some find it well suited to kayak outings, while others would prefer more room. That makes the key choice a practical one: prioritize accessible, organized tackle for a mobile trip, or choose a larger carry setup when you want to bring a broader assortment of gear.
