JOYO SP-01 Wireless Page Turner Pedal, 5 Modes, 60-Hour Battery

At 6.69 x 3.86 x 0.98 inches, the JOYO SP-01 is a compact Bluetooth foot pedal for turning digital sheet music pages without reaching for your screen. Its two foot switches let you control supported apps while keeping your hands on your instrument, making it useful for practice, rehearsals, and live performances.

Choose from five control modes to match the commands an app uses, including page turns, arrow keys, mouse clicks, and space or enter. A hold-to-repeat function adds continuous scrolling when a passage calls for it.

How to use it

Pair the pedal with a Bluetooth 4.0-or-newer phone, tablet, or other compatible device, then select a mode that works with your app. It supports popular music apps such as forScore and OnSong, as well as apps that respond to arrow-key or page-up/page-down commands. The same controls can also be used for presentations, ebooks, and image browsing when the app supports those commands.

For a typical music setup, place the pedal on the floor within reach and use the switches to move through a score while playing. Its rubber anti-slip base helps keep it in place underfoot, while quiet-switch operation is designed to keep pedal noise from distracting the audience. The repeat function can be held for continuous scrolling, which is useful for longer passages, getting familiar with its timing during practice can help you choose when to use it.

Why it’s worth it

A foot controller offers a hands-free alternative to tapping a tablet or phone each time you need the next page. That can be especially practical when both hands are occupied with an instrument or when you want to keep your place in a digital score without interrupting your playing position. The five command modes add flexibility across apps, while the rechargeable battery and LED indicator make it easier to keep track of power for regular sessions.

Customers commonly praise the Bluetooth connection, page-turning function, sturdy feel, and battery life. Feedback on responsiveness is mixed, and some buyers would prefer more mechanical feedback from the switches. These impressions can help set expectations for the pedal’s feel, while the available control modes and app-command compatibility determine how it fits a particular setup.

Should you buy it?

It suits you if you want to turn digital scores with your feet rather than reaching for a screen, and your device supports Bluetooth 4.0 or newer. The JOYO SP-01 brings five control modes, a non-slip base, quiet switches, and a long-running rechargeable battery into a compact format for musicians who use compatible sheet-music apps. It also makes sense for hands-free page control in presentations, ebooks, or image browsing when those apps recognize its commands.
