Joomer Halloween String Lights, 66 ft

Key specifications

A Halloween display can feel unfinished when one color or a short strand leaves gaps around a doorway or railing. These battery-powered lights combine orange and purple LEDs along a 66-foot string, giving you more room to shape a coordinated display without needing an outlet nearby.

The strand has 200 LEDs, spaced 3.9 inches apart, plus a 0.98-foot lead. It runs on four AA batteries, which are not included, and offers eight lighting modes, from steady-on to chasing, fading, and flashing effects. A built-in timer keeps the lights on for 6 hours and off for 18 hours after activation. The memory function saves the last mode setting, so you don’t have to select it again each day.

The product is described as waterproof and suitable for indoor or outdoor use. However, no waterproof rating or separate battery-box protection details are provided, so treat that as a reason to place the battery box thoughtfully rather than assume it can be submerged.

Who it’s for

A solid pick if you want orange-and-purple color in a single strand and need flexible placement around a Halloween tree, window, door, or fence. The battery setup is useful when the decoration spot is away from an outlet, while the timer can help avoid leaving the lights on all evening. For example, you could wind the strand through a small indoor tree and set it to glow during the evening without running a cord across the room.

Not the best choice if you want a plug-in display, a single-color look, or lighting with a documented waterproof rating. The four AA batteries are an ongoing practical consideration, and they need to be on hand before you can use the strand.

Everyday use

The mix of orange and purple does the color planning for you, which suits a Halloween setup better than buying separate strands and arranging them together. The eight modes let you choose between a steady glow and more movement, the timer and saved setting are the more useful everyday features if the lights will stay up for several nights.

Compared with a basic short strand, the 66-foot length gives you more flexibility to trace a doorway, continue along a fence, or wrap a tree. A plug-in set may suit a permanent display near an outlet, but battery power makes this one easier to position where an extension cord would be awkward. The available details don’t say how long a set of batteries lasts, so frequent or all-night use may mean replacing them sooner than you’d like.

Practical doubts

Are batteries included? No. The lights use four AA batteries, and the batteries are not included.

Does the timer repeat automatically? Once activated, it runs a 6-hours-on, 18-hours-off cycle. The memory chip also retains the last selected lighting mode.

Can it be used outdoors? The product is described as waterproof and suitable for outdoor use, including weather such as rain and snow. Since no rating or battery-box protection details are listed, choose a placement that keeps the battery box sheltered where possible.

Is it worth it?

This strand makes sense when the main goal is a long, easy-to-place Halloween decoration with both orange and purple light, several effects, and a recurring timer. Its 66-foot length and battery operation give you more placement freedom than a short plug-in option, especially around trees, windows, or fences without a convenient outlet.

The tradeoff is that you supply the batteries, and the listing gives no runtime estimate or formal waterproof rating. Choose it for flexible seasonal decorating and a built-in daily schedule, look elsewhere if you need detailed weatherproofing specifications, plug-in power, or a display that avoids battery replacement.
