HISHINY Christmas String Lights, 21 Feet

For a tree, window, or patio that needs a seasonal splash of blue, a short string can be easier to place than a large, more involved lighting setup. HISHINY’s set has a 21-foot lighted length and a green wire that blends more naturally into evergreen branches. It’s described for indoor and outdoor decorating, with an end-to-end connector for extending the display. One detail to notice before choosing: the product name calls the lights blue, while the bulb description calls them clear mini bulbs.

Getting the most from it

Use the 100-count string for a focused display, such as winding it through a Christmas tree or outlining a window, wreath, or section of fence. The green wire is especially suited to greenery, where a contrasting cord could be more visible. For a larger arrangement, the end-to-end connector lets you link up to five compatible strings of this same type, for a stated total lighted length of 105 feet.

The package details also list two flasher bulbs, two spare bulbs, and two replacement fuses. Those extras may be useful if a bulb or fuse needs attention, though the listing doesn’t explain how to replace them or whether the lights have different flashing modes. The listing gives the total lighted length but not the spacing between bulbs, so it’s difficult to estimate how evenly they’ll fill a tree or railing without that measurement.

Why it’s worth it

This set is aimed at decorating rather than illuminating a room: think a lit tree in the evening, a festive window, or a small outdoor display for a holiday or gathering. Its indoor-and-outdoor designation and IP44 waterproof rating make it more versatile than a string intended only for interior use. The stated rating is not a reason to leave the plug exposed, however, the product information specifically says to keep it away from water.

If you prioritize adding color to a compact display, the 21-foot length and green wire are practical details. If you prefer to cover a broad area without joining multiple strings, a longer single set may suit that plan better. It’s a great fit if you want a connectable string for seasonal accents and can work within its stated length.

Worth noting

The description says the lights are UL certified and approved for indoor and outdoor use. That’s useful information when comparing decorative strings, but it doesn’t remove the need to follow the instructions or protect the plug from water. The product also mentions rain and snow resistance alongside its IP44 rating, it does not provide further guidance on exposure or installation, so treat the plug warning as a real boundary.

There’s also a wording mismatch worth weighing: the product name identifies blue Christmas lights, while the details describe 100 mini clear bulbs. If the exact light color is central to your decorating plan, confirm that the listing’s image or full product details match the effect you want before buying. It’s not for you if you need confirmed bulb spacing or a clearly specified color with no ambiguity.

Buying verdict

Choose this HISHINY string for a tree or modest indoor-outdoor accent where a 21-foot lighted run, green wire, and the option to connect additional strings fit the layout. It makes less sense when you need precise coverage, a clearly documented bulb appearance, or a setup where the plug could be exposed to water. The useful decision is less about the broad list of occasions and more about whether this length and the stated color description suit the exact display you have in mind.
