C7 LED Christmas Lights, 25-Foot String

These red-and-white C7 lights suit shoppers who want a traditional holiday look for a porch, patio, yard, or indoor tree. Their alternating colors and warm glow lean vintage rather than minimalist.

Run them along a roofline, wrap them around a small tree, or use the included clips to dress up a doorway. The 25-foot string gives you a defined area to decorate without committing to a larger lighting setup.

If you prioritize a classic color pattern and shatterproof plastic bulbs, this set fits that brief, if you prefer a plain white display or need a precise bulb count, its details deserve a closer look.

Where it shines

The red-and-white C7 bulbs create a familiar Christmas palette, while the listed 2200K color temperature gives the white bulbs a warm appearance. That combination works well for a porch railing or fence where the colors can read clearly, and it also brings a vintage feel to a holiday party or backyard gathering. You’ll appreciate it if you want decorative color as well as light, rather than an understated strand that disappears into the background.

The product is described as suitable for indoor and outdoor use, with weather-resistant plastic construction and sturdy hanging clips. It can be dimmed with a compatible dimmer, but the dimmer is not included. The listing also describes the bulbs as staying cool to the touch, that may be reassuring around children or pets, though it does not replace ordinary care with plugged-in lights.

Key points

This is a plug-in string rated at 120 volts, with 0.6-watt LED bulbs and E12 candelabra bases. The listed layout has 12-inch spacing between bulbs, a 6-inch lead, and a 6-inch tail with a female connector. The strand is described as end-to-end connectable, with up to 28 strands permitted by the listing. If you only need one roofline or a short run along a fence, the included 25-foot length may be simpler than buying a system designed for a much larger display.

There is a count discrepancy worth noting before choosing: the product name advertises 27 bulbs, while the specifications describe 25 hanging sockets. The listing also says that if one bulb burns out, the others stay lit. Since the count affects how the strand will look when spaced across a railing or tree, confirm what is included with the specific listing. The stated lifespan of up to 30,000 hours and UL listing are claims in the product information, not a substitute for checking the package details.

Best use cases

Use the clips to attach the strand along a doorway, fence, or porch edge, then plug it in to create a red-and-white border around the space. It also suits a smaller patio setup where a warm decorative glow matters more than adjustable, individually controlled lighting. The plug-in format means you will need an accessible outlet, no battery operation is specified. And while the lights are presented for outdoor use, the information does not give a temperature range or detailed care instructions, so avoid assuming they are suited to every winter condition.

Final verdict

It’s not for you if you need a confirmed 27-socket layout, a dimmer in the box, or detailed guidance for harsh weather. For a straightforward holiday accent with warm white and red C7 LEDs, clips, and a 25-foot run, the format makes sense for modest indoor or outdoor decorating. The main decision is whether the color scheme and stated string layout match your display, buyers who need a longer or more precisely specified installation may be better served by a strand with a fully consistent bulb count and clearer setup details.
