JOBABA JO02 ULTRAWF-Compatible Refrigerator Water Filter, 3-Pack, 11-Inch

Some refrigerator owners prefer an OEM filter, while others are looking for a compatible replacement. The JOBABA JO02 is listed for ULTRAWF and PureSource Ultra applications, with additional compatible filter references provided by the seller.

This set contains three filters, each listed at 11 inches. The product description identifies activated carbon and BPA-free, food-grade materials, and says the filter is tested and certified to NSF/ANSI 42.

The listing also gives a replacement interval of every 6 months or 200 gallons. Confirm that your refrigerator takes one of the compatible filter types below before choosing this replacement.

How it fits

JOBABA lists this filter as compatible with Frigidaire ULTRAWF and PureSource Ultra, as well as several equivalent filter references, including Kenmore 9999 and 46-9999. That makes the specific filter number the key purchase check: the compatibility list does not name refrigerator models, so match the filter currently used by your appliance rather than relying on the brand name alone.

The product description says installation follows the same method as the original ULTRAWF filter and that it can be used after insertion. It also notes that the center plastic part differs from the OEM filter, while stating that this does not affect insertion. This is a compatible replacement, not an OEM part, so shoppers who specifically want the original component may prefer a different route.

Why it makes sense

A three-pack gives you replacement filters for later changes without needing to select each one individually. Activated carbon is the listed filtration material, and the product description focuses on reducing unwanted taste and odor. It claims 99% removal of the flavor and odor of lead and chlorine, that wording concerns flavor and odor, not a clearly specified percentage of contaminant reduction. The listing also says essential minerals are retained.

The stated replacement schedule—every 6 months or 200 gallons—offers a practical reference for planning changes. Actual timing should follow the product guidance and your household’s use. A solid pick if your refrigerator uses a filter number on the compatibility list and you want a multi-filter replacement set. It might not be a great match if your appliance uses a different filter type or you only want an OEM component.

Is it worth it?

This set is most relevant when you have verified that your refrigerator uses ULTRAWF, PureSource Ultra, or one of the other listed filter references. Its three-filter format and stated replacement interval make it straightforward to plan for future changes. Compared with choosing an OEM filter, the tradeoff is that JOBABA identifies this as a compatible alternative and notes a difference in the center plastic part. If matching the original component matters more than choosing a compatible replacement, that distinction may guide your decision.
