Jabra wireless headset Evolve2 85

The foldable boom arm gives the Evolve2 85 a practical split: keep it tucked away for everyday listening, then bring it out for calls.

Its enhanced memory foam padding and active noise cancellation are intended to make busy workdays more comfortable and less distracting.

A charging stand and USB-C Bluetooth adapter are included, so the setup is geared toward both a desk and wireless use.

Technical details

Jabra lists up to 37 hours of battery life on a charge, plus 40 mm speakers for calls and music. Ten built-in microphones handle voice pickup, while the hidden, foldable boom arm offers a more conventional headset position when you need to speak clearly. A more visible busy light can signal that you are on a call.

The product description also says its improved ANC cancels 54% more surrounding noise. That figure is a comparison claim, not a promise that every office sound will disappear. The headset uses enhanced memory foam padding, but the supplied details do not specify its weight or provide a sizing range, so those points may matter if you are particular about fit.

What it works with

This is a UC-certified headset described as working with leading Unified Communications platforms, including Microsoft Teams, Cisco, Mitel, and Avaya. The included Jabra Link 380c is a USB-C Bluetooth adapter. That makes the package relevant for someone who wants a dedicated wireless connection for work calls, rather than a basic headset with no listed UC focus. Check that your device has the USB-C connection you need for the adapter, the product details do not spell out setup for every computer or platform.

Usage tips

At a desk, leave the charging stand where the headset can be set down between meetings. When a call starts, lower the boom arm and use the busy light to make your status more visible. Away from the desk, fold the arm away and use the headphones for music or calls on the go. The up-to-37-hour battery claim may suit a long stretch of work without daily charging, though actual runtime can vary with use.

From the way it is set up, this model is aimed at people who switch between focused calls and listening, not just occasional voice chats. A simpler call-only headset could be a better fit if music playback, a charging stand, and a foldaway boom arm would go unused. A solid pick if you want those work and listening functions in one wireless headset. It might not be a great match if you prefer a minimal setup or need fit and weight details before choosing.

Questions before you buy

Does the package include a charging stand? Yes. The product name and description list a charging stand as included.

How long can it run on a charge? Jabra states up to 37 hours. Treat that as a maximum claim rather than a guaranteed runtime for every pattern of use.

Can you hide the microphone boom? The boom arm folds away, letting you switch to a less call-focused look when you are listening.

Is it worth it?

The Evolve2 85 makes most sense if your workday mixes meetings, music, and moving between a desk and other locations. Its UC certification, USB-C adapter, charging stand, and foldable boom arm give it a more work-ready setup than a straightforward pair of wireless music headphones. The tradeoff is that this is a feature-heavy choice for someone who may only need occasional calls, the listed details also leave fit and weight unanswered. Choose it for the combination of call tools and listening use, but look elsewhere if you want a simpler headset or need those fit specifics confirmed first.
