E-Z Ink TN227 High-Yield Compatible Toner 4-Pack for Brother Printers

The four-color E-Z Ink TN227 toner set includes black, cyan, magenta, and yellow cartridges, so you can replace the colors used by a compatible Brother laser printer from one pack. Each cartridge has a chip, and the high-yield format is designed for printing text and color images on plain paper.

Use this compatible replacement with select Brother HL and MFC laser printers for everyday documents, reports, and color pages.

Usage tips

Before ordering, match your printer’s model number to the supported list: MFC-L3710CDW, MFC-L3750CDW, MFC-L3770CDW, HL-L3210CW, HL-L3230CDW, HL-L3230CDN, HL-L3270CDW, or HL-L3290CDW. That quick check helps ensure the TN227 cartridges are intended for your printer.

When installing a cartridge, seat it securely so its chip makes good contact. If the printer displays “No Toner,” “Cannot Detect,” or “Cartridge Error” after installation, reseat the cartridge and check the chip contact. The pack is for toner cartridges, the drum unit is not included.

Where it shines

This set suits homes and small workspaces that print both black-and-white documents and color materials. Having black, cyan, magenta, and yellow together makes it practical to replenish the printer’s four toner colors in one purchase, whether the next job is a stack of text pages or a presentation with color graphics.

Buyers describe the cartridges as easy to install and report crisp, dark print results and useful color selection. Feedback on durability is mixed, with some buyers mentioning broken cartridges, so these impressions are best treated as individual experiences rather than a guarantee of how every cartridge will perform.

The essentials

The package contains one TN227 black cartridge and one each in cyan, magenta, and yellow, all with chips. The stated yield is up to 3,000 pages for black and 2,300 pages per color cartridge, based on 5% coverage of A4 paper. Actual page use depends on how much of each page is printed, so documents with large areas of color may use toner differently from mostly text-based pages.

Because this is a compatible toner set rather than a drum replacement, it is intended for replacing toner in the listed Brother printer models. Compared with buying only one color at a time, the four-cartridge format provides all four toner colors in a single pack. Customer feedback also highlights the color selection and installation experience, while opinions on durability vary.
