HZODJBH clear tarp 8 x 10 ft, 8 mil Clear Polyethylene Tarp with Grommets

For patio and porch coverage that still lets light through, this clear tarp combines an 8 x 10 ft format with 8 mil polyethylene. Need to shield furniture or plants without switching to an opaque cover? Reinforced edges and frequent grommets make it practical to secure for a range of outdoor setups.

What matters most

The transparent material is designed for 90% transparency, so covered outdoor spaces can retain a view of their surroundings. Its water-repellent construction helps protect furniture, wood, and other belongings from wet weather, while UV protection adds another useful feature for outdoor placement. The 8 mil thickness suits everyday covering tasks where a flexible sheet is easier to position than a rigid panel.

The edges are heat-sealed and folded, with poly rope sewn into the hems for added support. Reinforced corner sleeves strengthen the areas that take stress when the tarp is tied down. Aluminum grommets sit every 20 inches along the edges and at all four corners, giving you several points for securing the cover. Customer feedback is positive about its protective qualities, while opinions are mixed on how clear and sturdy it feels. That makes it useful to weigh the practical coverage features alongside the visibility you want from a transparent tarp.

Size & fit

At 8 x 10 ft, this tarp can cover patio furniture, a porch section, a gazebo area, or stored materials such as wood. The grommets are spaced along the perimeter, and the listed grommet diameter is 0.47 inches. For installation, thread the included rope or zip ties through the grommets and fasten the tarp to a suitable support. The rope can be cut to the length needed for your setup. When it is not in use, the flexible tarp can be folded for storage.

The package includes one clear tarp, 20 zip ties, and 32.8 ft of rope. Having both tie-down options on hand helps adapt the installation to different anchor points, whether you are covering an outdoor seating area or creating a temporary screen.

Best use cases

Use it as a cover for patio or porch furniture, a woodpile, a gazebo, or plants that need weather protection while remaining visible. It can also serve as a balcony partition, a dust cover for stored items, or a protective layer around a pet area. For greenhouse or plant coverage, the transparency helps preserve access to daylight, for outdoor furniture, it keeps the covered pieces visible instead of concealing the whole setting. Compared with an opaque tarp, this clear format is a better fit when visibility and light matter alongside coverage.
