Hipubby Dog Harness and Leash Set, XS

For short neighborhood walks, quick potty breaks, or an evening stroll, a step-in harness can be simpler to put on than a style that pulls over a dog’s head. The Hipubby set pairs a soft mesh harness with a matching leash, with reflective details for low-light visibility and an XS size guide for smaller pets.

Fit is the main decision here. The listed XS range is a 10.5–12-inch neck girth and a 12.5–14-inch chest girth, so measure both areas and compare them with the size chart. A harness that feels easy to fasten still needs to fit your pet correctly.

Key specifications

The harness is made from lightweight, breathable air mesh described as flexible and moisture-wicking. Its step-in layout has openings for the paws and fastens with Velcro straps. That can make getting ready for a walk feel straightforward, especially with a pet that dislikes having gear pulled over its head. The listing also describes the fabric as tear-resistant, but it does not give a weight limit or detailed durability testing.

Reflective strips run around the harness and along the leash, adding visibility when light is limited. They can help the set stand out, though reflective details are not a substitute for a well-lit route or other visibility measures. The listed leash length is 5 feet, and its handle is padded for a more comfortable grip.

Who it’s for

This XS version is intended for small dogs, with the product listing also naming medium dogs and cats among the possible users. The measurements matter more than those broad labels: pets of the same general size can have different neck and chest proportions. If your pet is between the listed ranges, the provided information does not explain how much adjustment the straps allow, so choosing a size confidently may be difficult without that measurement.

A solid pick if you want a coordinated harness-and-leash set, a step-in fastening style, and reflective accents for everyday walks. It might not be a great match if your pet needs a very specific fit, or if you are looking for a harness with a stated weight rating or more detailed adjustment information. Compared with walking on a basic collar, this set offers a vest-style harness, for specialized training or stronger control needs, the listing does not provide enough detail to judge whether it will meet them.

What’s included

The set includes one step-in harness and one matching 5-foot leash. For a typical outing, you can guide your pet’s paws through the harness openings, secure the straps, and attach the leash. The matching pieces make it easy to keep the walking gear together, while the padded leash handle is a practical touch for holding it during a stroll. No additional accessories are specified.

Practical doubts

How should I choose the XS size? Measure neck and chest girth, then compare both measurements with the listed XS ranges: 10.5–12 inches at the neck and 12.5–14 inches at the chest.

Is the leash included? Yes. The listing specifies a matching 5-foot leash with a padded handle.

Does it add visibility at night? Reflective strips are described on both the harness and leash for low-light visibility. The listing does not state that they provide illumination on their own.

Buying verdict

This Hipubby set makes sense for a small pet whose measurements fall within the XS chart and whose walks call for a lightweight, step-in harness with a matching leash. Its practical strengths are the easy-on layout, breathable mesh, and reflective trim. Choose a different approach if you need a confirmed fit outside those ranges, a stated load limit, or more specific control features, those details are not provided here.
