Dogcheer 2003 Dog Coat, Small Purple Fleece-Lined, Water-Resistant & Reflective

For a chilly morning walk or a snowy trip outside, the Dogcheer 2003 dog coat adds a fleece lining and a water-resistant outer layer without requiring you to remove your dog’s leash or harness to get connected.

This Small, purple coat has an adjustable buckle closure and reflective strips along the back. A foldable plush collar adds coverage around the neck and ears.

One important distinction: the shell is water-resistant, and the manufacturer says the coat is not intended to serve as a standalone raincoat. It is better suited to cold-weather walks and light moisture than to replacing dedicated rain gear.

At a glance

The coat combines a polyester shell with a double-layer fleece lining intended to help retain warmth. Its listed features also include wind resistance, reflective strips, a zippered leash opening, and an inner fur guard to help keep fur away from the zipper. The collar folds for extra coverage, while the buckle closure is adjustable for fit.

Those details make it a practical style of winter layer for everyday outings, including walks, hiking, and travel. Compared with a simple, unlined dog jacket, the fleece lining is the main distinction for colder weather. But its water resistance has a clear boundary: it is not described as a standalone raincoat.

Buyer feedback often highlights the warm lining, ease of putting the coat on and taking it off, and its appearance. Sizing comments are mixed: some buyers report a good fit, while others say the medium runs small. Those comments are not a substitute for measuring your dog.

How it fits

This listing is for the Small size and gives a chest measurement of 18 inches. The product guidance says to measure neck girth, chest girth, and back length before choosing, rather than relying on breed or weight. It also advises prioritizing back length for a long-bodied dog, chest girth for a broad-chested dog, and sizing up when between sizes.

The pullover style and adjustable belly buckles are intended to make dressing easier while allowing some adjustment. The zippered opening lets a leash connect to a collar or harness without taking the coat off. For a dog that wears a harness, confirm that its connection point lines up with the opening, the listed details do not give the opening’s dimensions.

Tips for day-to-day use

For a walk in light rain or snow, the water-resistant shell can add a layer over the fleece, while the reflective strips are intended to improve visibility in low light. They are a useful feature for early or evening outings, but the coat’s description does not promise visibility in every condition.

Follow the sizing guidance before ordering, especially if your dog has a long back or broad chest. The coat is machine washable, with gentle-cycle washing specified in the product details. Keeping the fur clear of the zipper can also help when fastening and removing it.

When it makes sense

It suits you if you want a fleece-lined winter coat for walks and other outdoor routines, plus a leash opening and reflective details. It may not suit you if you need a standalone raincoat for wet-weather protection, the manufacturer explicitly limits that use. For a cold-weather layer with light-moisture coverage, the Small variant’s listed chest measurement and adjustable closure give you concrete points to compare with your dog’s measurements before choosing.
