Hipubby Dog Harness and Leash Set, XS

The step-in design is the main convenience here: guide your dog’s paws through the openings, secure the Velcro, and get ready for a walk without pulling a harness over the head. This set pairs the XS vest with a matching 5-foot leash, so the basic walking gear comes together in one purchase. Soft, breathable air mesh and reflective strips add comfort and visibility details for everyday outings. The fit is the key decision, though, the listed XS range is specific, so measuring your pet matters more than choosing by breed or appearance.

Key points

The harness is made from lightweight air mesh, described as breathable and moisture-wicking, with a flexible feel intended for comfortable wear. Its step-in format may be especially handy with a puppy that dislikes having gear slipped over its head. Velcro straps secure the vest, while reflective strips around the harness and leash are intended to help your pet stand out in low light. A padded handle on the leash adds a softer contact point for your hand.

For XS, the stated fit is a neck girth of 10.5–12 inches and a chest girth of 12.5–14 inches. Keep in mind that those measurements are the practical limit: if your pet falls outside either range, this size may not provide the intended fit. The listing also calls the set no-pull, but the details provided don’t establish how it manages strong pulling, so don’t treat the label as a substitute for leash training or a properly fitted harness.

How to use it

Have your dog step into the openings, then fasten the Velcro straps and check that the vest sits securely before attaching the leash. A useful routine is to test the fit indoors first: let your pet walk a few steps, turn, and sit, then see whether the harness stays in place without looking overly tight. Measure both neck and chest girth before ordering, and use the listed XS ranges rather than guessing from the “small” label. The set is presented for small and medium dogs and cats, but these exact measurements describe the XS option—not every pet in those groups.

Practical tips

This setup suits short neighborhood walks, quick potty breaks, and routine outings where a lightweight vest and matching leash are convenient. Picture clipping the leash on before an evening walk: the reflective details are meant to improve visibility when light is low, while the padded handle gives you a more comfortable grip. They are visibility features, not a substitute for staying alert around traffic or using additional safety measures when needed.

Compared with buying a basic leash separately and pairing it with a harness, this bundle keeps the pieces matched and ready to use. It makes sense if you want a simple step-in option and your pet’s measurements fit the XS range. You may want to skip it if you need a different size, prefer a harness with a specified adjustment range, or need detailed guidance for controlling a strong puller. No washing or care instructions are provided, so avoid assuming a particular cleaning method is approved.

Before you decide

What measurements fit the XS? The listed range is 10.5–12 inches around the neck and 12.5–14 inches around the chest. Measure your pet before choosing.

How long is the leash? The matching leash is listed as 5 feet long and has a padded handle.

Can I use it in low light? The harness and leash have 360° reflective strips intended to improve visibility in low-light conditions, the listing does not specify visibility distance or guarantee that a pet will always be seen.

Final verdict

This Hipubby set is worth considering when the XS measurements match and you want a step-in mesh harness with a leash included. Its useful details are the easy-on format, reflective trim, and padded leash handle, rather than a detailed system for managing pulling. Choose it for straightforward walks with a correctly sized pet, look for a different option if your measurements fall outside the stated range or your priority is documented control for a dog that pulls hard.
